Workshop on Islamic Banking
The Indian Association of Islamic Economics will organise a workshop on Islamic Banking in August this year at Delhi. It will invite members of several economics and financial experts from Government and banking sectors. Dr. Hamid Hussain, chairman Dubai Islamic Bank will be a special invitee. It will engage activists from the field of Islamic investment companies and micro-finance bodies too. The delegates will also call upon the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Reserve Bank officials.
The Association will prepare a database of Islamic finance bodies, set up panels for lobbying in academic institutions and political sectors. The Association headed by Dr. Fazlur Rahman Faridi, has inducted the following persons among its members; Dr. Nejatullah Siddiqui from Aligarh, Dr. Ausaf Ahmed from Delhi, Dr. Rahmatullah from Mumbai, Dr. Shariq Nisar from Bangalore, Abdussalam from Kochi, Abdur Rasheed, Mumbra ((Maharashtra), Anwar Bhatki from Pune, Noorul Huq from Mumbai, Prof. P. Ibrahim from Thissur (Kerala), H. Abdur Raqeeb from Chennai, Mujtaba Farooq from Delhi, Ejaz Ahmed Aslam from Delhi and Dr. S. Q. R. Ilyas from Delhi.

ஒற்றுமையே வேண்டாம்
சமீபத்தில் ஷியாக்களும், சுன்னிகளும் சேர்ந்து தொழுகை நடத்தியதாகவும்,
மேலும் நடத்த இருப்பதாகவும் இது ஏற்படப்போகும் ஒற்றுமையின் அறிகுறி
என்று ஒரு செய்தி படித்தேன் இதுவரை நடந்தவை, இனி நடக்கக் கூடியவை என்ன
விளைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்தும் என்று எனக்குச் சொல்லத் தெரியவில்லை.
இந்த நிலையில் பொதுவாக இந்தியாவில், குறிப்பகத் தமிழகத்தில், இஸ்லாமிய
இயக்கங்களிடையே 'ஒற்றுமை' என்பது அனைவரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பட்டது.
ஆனால் எட்டாக் கனியாகவே காட்சி தருவது என்றாகி இருக்கிறது.
இப்போது பரஸ்பரத் தாக்குதல்கள் மூர்க்கமாகி இருக்கின்றன. ஆகவே ஒற்றுமை
என்பதே வேண்டாம். தாக்குதல்கள் த்ரம் தாழ்ந்து போகாமல் இருந்தால்
சரி என்கிற நிலைக்கு நாம் ஆளாகி இருக்கிறோம். சிலர் கண்ணியமாக தங்கள்
வாதத்தை முன் வைக்க சிலர் காட்டுத்தனமாக வசை மாரிகளைப் பொழிந்து
தள்ளுகிறார்கள்.
இதில் எதிலும் சேராத, நல்லதை மட்டுமே விரும்பும் என்னைப் போன்றவர்களும்
இடையில் அகப்பட்டுக் கொண்டு அநியாயத்துக்கு அநாவசிய சொல்லடிகளை
வாங்க வேண்டியதிருப்பதுதான் பெரும் சோகம்.
நான் ஒரு ஊடகவியளாளன். அல்ஹம்துலில்லா, ஓரிரு வருடங்களல்ல. சுமார் அரை
நூற்றாண்டுக்கும் அதிகமாக ! இதில் நமது சமுதாயத் தலைவர்களை
உலகின் பல்வேறு பகுதி மக்களுக்குப் பரிச்சயப் படுத்தும், நம் சமுதாயச்
செய்திகளை உலகெங்கும் எடுத்துச் செல்லும் வசதியும் வாய்ப்பும் இறைவன்
அருளால் எனக்கு அமைந்து இருக்கிறது. அதை நன்கு பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டு
என்னால் இயன்றவற்றையெல்லாம் சமுக நன்மைக்கு செய்து வருகிறேன் -
பிரதி பலன் கருதாது.
தனி நபர் ஆராதனையில் (Hero Worship) எனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. எந்த
இயக்கத்தின் மீதோ அல்லது கட்சியின் மீதோ எவ்வித பற்றும் கிடையாது.
உண்மையான் பத்திரிகை தர்மப்படி காய்தல், உவத்தல் இன்றி, விருப்பு -
வெறுப்புகளின்றி எல்லோர் கருத்துக்கும் மதிப்பளித்து அவற்றை மக்கள்
முன்பு
வைக்கிறேன். தீர்ப்பை அவர்களுக்கே விட்டு விடுகிறேன். கண்ணியமானவர்கள்,
விஷயம் தெரிந்தவர்கள் என்னுடைய இந்த நிலையை பாராட்டுகிறார்கள்.
இதைப் பொறுக்க மாட்டாதவர்களோ அல்லது " நீ எங்கள் இயக்கமில்லையா
அப்படியானால் நீ எங்கள் எதிரிதான்" என்கிற குரூரமான (Sadist) மனப்
பான்மை உடையவர்கள் புழுதி வாரித் தூற்றுகிறார்கள். அவர்கள்
தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் வார்த்தைகள் நாகரீகமானவையாக இல்லை. ஒரு இந்துத்வ
"ஜடாயு"
அவ்வாறு திட்டுவதை என்னால் புரிந்து கொள்ளமுடியும். ஆனால் ஒரு முஸ்லிம்
'சத்தியத்தின் குரல்' அவ்வாறு செய்வது வேதனை தருகிறது.இத்தகைய
சூழ்நிலையில் அபூ நூரா போன்ற நண்பர்கள் கண்ணியமான வார்த்தைகளைப்
பயன்படுத்தி இருப்பது மனதுக்கு இதம் தருகிறது. அதேசமயம், நான் ஒரு
குறிப்பிட்ட இயக்கத்துக்குப் பயந்து கொண்டு அல்லது அங்கு எனக்குள்ள
நாற்காலி மறுக்கப் பட்டு விடும் என்கிற எண்ணத்தில் நான் செயல் படுவதாக
உள்
நோக்கம் கற்பித்து கொச்சைப் படுத்துவது நியாயமானதாகப் படவில்லை.
ஆயிற்று ஐம்பத்தெட்டு ஆண்டுகள் - ஒலிபரப்புத்துறையில் - ஊடகத் துறையில்
உள் நுழைந்து.! "உலகின் மூத்த தமிழ் ஒல்லிபரப்பாளன்" ( The most SENIOR
Tamil Broadcaster in the WORLD) என்கிற தகுதியை எனக்களித்துள்ள
இறைவனுக்கே எல்லப் புகழும் -- நன்றியும்.
இத்தனை காலத்தில் யாருக்கும் தீங்கு எண்ணியதில்லை. உண்மைகளை மட்டுமே
உலகுக்குச் சொல்வதில் உறுதியாக இருந்திருக்கிறேன். காரணம்
'உண்மைக்கு நடுநிலை இல்லை' என்று நம்புகிறவன் நான். எனக்குப் பூச்சூட
வேண்டாம், பொன்னாடை போர்த்த வேண்டாம், 'வாழ்-நாள் சாதனையாளர்'
விருது கூட வேண்டாம். என்னை தூற்றாமல் இருங்கள் போதும். என் கருத்து
பிடிக்கவில்லையா ? அதை எடுத்துச் சொல்வதில் ஒரு கண்ணியம் இருக்கட்டும்.
அதுபோல, ஒற்றுமை என்பது வருகிறபோது வரட்டும். இப்போது வேண்டாம் என்றால்
வேண்டாம் என்றே இருக்கட்டும். யாரும் சரி, எந்தச் சூழலிலும் சரி தரம்
தாழ்ந்து தாக்குவதைக் கை விடுங்கள். ஏனெனில் நாம் மனிதர்களுக்குப்
பயப்படாதவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் ஆண்டவனுக்குப் பதில் சொல்லியே
ஆக வேண்டும். எல்லாவற்றின் மையப் புள்ளியும் அதுதான்.

After tough negotiations with India, Saudi Arabia has decided to allow 4,000 more Indians to do the Haj this year. The number was decided following talks between King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
The increase in numbers, though far less than what the Indian government had asked for, is expected to win plaudits for the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government from the minority community.
Last month, Mukherjee and his deputy, E Ahamed, had visited Saudi Arabia to press for an increase in India's quota by at least 15,000. But the Saudis have partially accepted the demand. In fact, agencies managing the Haj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia had asked the government to reduce India's participation because of paucity of accommodation.

Dear Hidayath, Assalamu Alaikum. The donation they charge for every course is more than 200,000/- and more. This amount is very very high for an ordinary Muslim student. There are lot of poor Muslim students passed out with acadamically rich marks but they could not attend this college due to high donation. If IMAN can make some deal with the management for the admission of poor Muslim students, then we can say that this college is trying to make the dream of Kalaam TRUE. 1. Position: Researcher/Research Engineer
Qualifications:
Ph.D. Degree in Chemical Engineering /Electrochemistry/ Material Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience after Ph.D. in PEM fuel cell and their components, membrane electrode assembly, catalyst layer design, bipolar plates, membrane preparation and testing in the fuel cell testing facility. Background in the electrochemical instruments such as electrical impedance analyzer, potentiometer, cyclic voltammeter etc.
Excellent record of publications, reports or patents in PEM fuel cell and membrane systems and bipolar plates.
Job Description: To lead a group of researchers to;
Establish a research laboratory to develop MEA, membranes, electrocatalyst and bipolar plates at KFUPM
Conduct basic research in the area of polymer fuel cell technology
Establish a laboratory to evaluate performance of fuel cell components
Operate MEA prototyping equipment in order to make concept designs
Design, build and test MEAs in order to verify improvements to durability
Operation of 1KW and 3KW test stands in order to generate data
Apply advanced diagnostic tools to gain insights into cell voltage losses.
Data analysis of polarization curves in order to determine voltage loss breakdown
Analyze results and feedback learning to MEA and Catalyst Layer design teams.
Characterization of developed structures via optical microscopy and SEM, DSC and mechanical testing.

Conduct basic research in the area of polymer fuel cell technology
Establish a laboratory to evaluate performance of fuel cell components
Operate MEA prototyping equipment in order to make concept designs
Design, build and test MEAs in order to verify improvements to durability
Operation of 1KW and 3KW test stands in order to generate data
Apply advanced diagnostic tools to gain insights into cell voltage losses.
Data analysis of polarization curves in order to determine voltage loss breakdown
Analyze results and feedback learning to MEA and Catalyst Layer design teams.
Characterization of developed structures via optical microscopy and SEM, DSC and mechanical testing.

Items to prepare(All must be genuine and endorsed by relevant authorities)
1. Authorization letter from the Jamath/PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY confirming their residential status and their financial status endorsed by the official native jamaath like PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY with stamp and signed by the native president (verifiable). Scan them and send to everyone with this letter.
2. +2 and SSLC Mark sheet verifying their names (2 girls) so that they can
check their score in the mark sheet. (Both students' certificates scanned and attached to the mail which is clearly check their name and marks)
3. How much exactly needed for entering engineering if possible the fee table
given by the engineering college this also endorsed by PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY
4. An assurance or declaration by the help seeker (guardian) whatever stated
here in this letter is true and no false information is provided.
If you support with these documents, and get it scanned then you ask help
with these relevant information. and your receiving financial assistance from
any one for the 2 girls should channel through Jamath (Public) bank account
PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY and then it should be distributed to the needy students.
and it must have a proper account. so after collecting from everyone
you have prepare a sheet putting all donors and their amount and distributed
to the family. After that, the collector should email to everyone as the mission is
completed. this also endorsed by the Jamath PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY
Then whoever contribute, they will have complete satisfaction.
Now everywhere, false/fraudulent cases on the raise, to prevent such thing
and genuinely to help the needy students.
The above supporting documents would help and will induce the reader to support
the 2 girls' education.
Even, I wld be interested to donate something for them..
