சமூக நல்லிணக்கப் பணியில் ஈமான்
ஈமான் என்றழைக்கப்படும் இந்தியன் முஸ்லிம் அசோஷியேஷன் கடந்த 1976 ஆம் ஆண்டு அமீரகத்தின் வணிகத் தலைநகராம் துபாயில் துவங்கப்பட்டது.

My suggestion:
whoever send this letter asking for financial assistance for the 2 girls
engineering studies..
let me tell you something to ask for help what should be done and how it
should be forwarded mails to our brothers.
Items to prepare(All must be genuine and endorsed by relevant authorities)
1. Authorization letter from the Jamath/PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY confirming their residential status and their financial status endorsed by the official native jamaath like PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY with stamp and signed by the native president (verifiable). Scan them and send to everyone with this letter.
2. +2 and SSLC Mark sheet verifying their names (2 girls) so that they can
check their score in the mark sheet. (Both students' certificates scanned and attached to the mail which is clearly check their name and marks)
3. How much exactly needed for entering engineering if possible the fee table
given by the engineering college this also endorsed by PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY
4. An assurance or declaration by the help seeker (guardian) whatever stated
here in this letter is true and no false information is provided.
If you support with these documents, and get it scanned then you ask help
with these relevant information. and your receiving financial assistance from
any one for the 2 girls should channel through Jamath (Public) bank account
PALLAPATTI MUSLIM SOCIETY and then it should be distributed to the needy students.
and it must have a proper account. so after collecting from everyone
you have prepare a sheet putting all donors and their amount and distributed
to the family. After that, the collector should email to everyone as the mission is

Luqman a.s. Advice to his Son
Luqman a.s. Advice to his Son
The Qur'an contains ten precious advices Luqman, a.s.offered his son. Following is the list of this advice offered to Muslim parents, that they may communicate them to their children, family and members of society that they may implement them. If this valuable advise is followed and implemented, then we will all be on the straight Path leading to Paradise . Luqm⮠himself summed up in a few words the way to succeed in this life and on the Day of Judgment.
1. Luqman, a.s.warns his son against the greatest injustice man can do. Allah said that Luqman, a.s.said:
"O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great injustice indeed." [31:13]
Luqman, a.s.calls his son: "My Son". To do so catches his son's attention so that he may listen carefully to his father . Then he calls his son's attention to Tawhid. " Shirk," Luqman, a.s.said:" Is a great injustice indeed ".
Therefore, the one who associates others with All⨠in worship does injustice to Allah the owner and Creator of the universe. A great injustice is also done to the Mushrik: he subjects himself to All⨧s anger and eternal punishment in Hell.
2. Luqm⮠reminds his son of the rights of his parents on him,
"and We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and good to his parents.. His mother bore him upon weakness and hardship" [31:14]
He describes hardships mothers face bearing children.
"And his weaning is in two years, give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination. " [ 31:14]
Luqm⮠mentions the total dependence of infants on their mothers for two years. Thank All⨬ and then your parents. Is not, then the final destination is to All⨮
"And if they both strive with you to make you join in worship with me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly." [31:15]
Luqm⮠tells his son that if the parents are Mushrik then do not follow their way: All⨧s right comes first by far. Even so. for as long as the live, treat your Mushrik parents with kindness.
3. Luqm⮠then describes some of All⨧s Might.
"O my son! If it be equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the Heavens or the earth, All⨠will bring it forth. Verily All⨠is subtle in bringing out that grain, well aware of its place." [31:16]
All⨧s Knowledge is so perfect that the existence of anything, big or small, is acknowledged and controlled by Him. Luqm⮠tries to impress his son reminding him of All⨧s absolute control over His kingdom. Such might and power must not be challenged or ignored by anyone.
4. A great advice to Luqman's son is to establish regular prayer, on time and with the best possible performance,
"O my son! Offer prayer perfectly." [31:17]
Prayer is the direct connection between a Muslim and his Creator. Parents must take great care to teach and call upon their children to establish prayer.
5. Luqm⮠advises his son to "enjoin (people) for good, and forbid from evil." [31:17]
If every Muslim observe this duty, then evil and mischief will have no place in Muslim society.
6. After the useful advice he offered his son, Luqm⮠recommended patience in implementing them, and in all matters of life,
"And bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments ordered by All⨠with no exemption." [31:17]
Patience is a righteous act ordered, and rewarded by All⨮
7. Arrogance is an attribute of All⨠alone and not for man.
The Creator and Owner of the universe is the only One who deserves to be Arrogant. All⨠threatens arrogant people with punishment in Hellfire. Luqm⮠said:
"And turn not your face away from men with pride." [31:18]
8. To be moderate is a great attitude anyone can possess,
"Nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily All⨠likes not each arrogant boaster." [31:18]
All⨠does not like that man is arrogant and proud of themselves.
9. To be moderate in walking and talking is also one of Luqman's advises to his son, "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in walking." [31:19]
Isl⭠offers a code of conduct in every aspect of life. Even the way Muslims walk and talk are regulated. Islam offers guidelines in this regard that will produce the best behavior and generate respect.
10. Luqm⮠reminds his son that being harsh while talking will liken his voice to the braying of a donkey. Shouting does not win hearts, rather, it will offend and alienate people,
"And lower your voice. Verily the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying] of an ass!!" [31:19]
Luqm⮠shows great wisdom in his advice to his son. If Muslims parents take his example, and have their children implement these advises, then by All⨧s permission our Ummah will be successful.

Luqman, a.s.calls his son: "My Son". To do so catches his son's attention so that he may listen carefully to his father . Then he calls his son's attention to Tawhid. " Shirk," Luqman, a.s.said:" Is a great injustice indeed ".
Therefore, the one who associates others with All⨠in worship does injustice to Allah the owner and Creator of the universe. A great injustice is also done to the Mushrik: he subjects himself to All⨧s anger and eternal punishment in Hell.
2. Luqm⮠reminds his son of the rights of his parents on him,
"and We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and good to his parents.. His mother bore him upon weakness and hardship" [31:14]
He describes hardships mothers face bearing children.
"And his weaning is in two years, give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination. " [ 31:14]
Luqm⮠mentions the total dependence of infants on their mothers for two years. Thank All⨬ and then your parents. Is not, then the final destination is to All⨮
"And if they both strive with you to make you join in worship with me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly." [31:15]
Luqm⮠tells his son that if the parents are Mushrik then do not follow their way: All⨧s right comes first by far. Even so. for as long as the live, treat your Mushrik parents with kindness.
3. Luqm⮠then describes some of All⨧s Might.
"O my son! If it be equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the Heavens or the earth, All⨠will bring it forth. Verily All⨠is subtle in bringing out that grain, well aware of its place." [31:16]
All⨧s Knowledge is so perfect that the existence of anything, big or small, is acknowledged and controlled by Him. Luqm⮠tries to impress his son reminding him of All⨧s absolute control over His kingdom. Such might and power must not be challenged or ignored by anyone.
4. A great advice to Luqman's son is to establish regular prayer, on time and with the best possible performance,
"O my son! Offer prayer perfectly." [31:17]
Prayer is the direct connection between a Muslim and his Creator. Parents must take great care to teach and call upon their children to establish prayer.
5. Luqm⮠advises his son to "enjoin (people) for good, and forbid from evil." [31:17]
If every Muslim observe this duty, then evil and mischief will have no place in Muslim society.
6. After the useful advice he offered his son, Luqm⮠recommended patience in implementing them, and in all matters of life,
"And bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments ordered by All⨠with no exemption." [31:17]
Patience is a righteous act ordered, and rewarded by All⨮
7. Arrogance is an attribute of All⨠alone and not for man.
The Creator and Owner of the universe is the only One who deserves to be Arrogant. All⨠threatens arrogant people with punishment in Hellfire. Luqm⮠said:
"And turn not your face away from men with pride." [31:18]
8. To be moderate is a great attitude anyone can possess,
"Nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily All⨠likes not each arrogant boaster." [31:18]
All⨠does not like that man is arrogant and proud of themselves.
9. To be moderate in walking and talking is also one of Luqman's advises to his son, "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in walking." [31:19]
Isl⭠offers a code of conduct in every aspect of life. Even the way Muslims walk and talk are regulated. Islam offers guidelines in this regard that will produce the best behavior and generate respect.
10. Luqm⮠reminds his son that being harsh while talking will liken his voice to the braying of a donkey. Shouting does not win hearts, rather, it will offend and alienate people,
"And lower your voice. Verily the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying] of an ass!!" [31:19]
Luqm⮠shows great wisdom in his advice to his son. If Muslims parents take his example, and have their children implement these advises, then by All⨧s permission our Ummah will be successful.

Every Muslim should prepare for Jum'ah from Thursday. After Asr on
Thursday one should increasingly read Istighfaar etc. That person
shall obtain the most benefit of Jum'ah who awaits it and prepares for it
from Thursday.
Rasulallah ( S.A.W. ) has said : " The best day of the week that
the sun rises on, is the day of Jum'ah." The night of Jum'ah (the night
between Thursday and Friday ) is more blessed and the day of Jum'ah is
most blessed.
Friday is the best among all days.
Friday is an Eid for the Believers.
Adam (R.A.) was created on Friday,
He was granted entrance into Jannah on Friday,
He was descend into Earth on Friday,
He died on Friday, Qiyaamah will also take place on Friday.
Amongs the seven days of the week, Friday is the day when Allah's
Special mercies are granted. It is a day of gathering for the
Muslims and rewards are increased. Many great events took place on this
day, and yet take place.
Hazrat Abu Saeed kh u dri ( R.A. ) says that the Rasulallah ( S.A.W.) has said that :
" Whoever recite Suratul-Kahf on Friday (the night between Thursday and Friday) enjoys the illumination between two Fridays." (Nasai) Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar ( R.A. ) says that the Rasulallah ( S.A.W. ) has said that: " Whoever recites Suratul-Kahf on Friday, will enjoy
a light shining from his feet to the heaven and will have his sins forgiven committed between the two Fridays." ( Ibn Marduya ).
It is reported from Hazrat Abu Huraira ( R.A. ) that Rasulallah (
S.A.W.)has said that : " Whoever recites Suratul-Ham- Mim Dukhan on
Friday, (the night between Thursday and Friday ) enjoys the prayer of
70,000 angels for his forgiveness and gets all sins forgiven." ( Tirmizi ).
Hazrat Abdulla Bin Abbas ( R.A. ) says that Rasulallah ( S.A.W. )
has said That : " Whoever recites Suratul-Aale Imran on Friday, angels
enjoy the divine shower of salutation on him till sunset." ( Tibrani ).
Al Isbahaani reports from Ibn Abbas ( R.A. ) that Rasulallah (
S.A.W.)said : " The one who performs 2 raka'at after Maghrib on Friday
night (the night between Thursday and Friday ) and reads in every
rakaat once Suratul-Al Fatiha and Suratul Zilzaal ( Iza zul zilatil Ardhu )
15 times,Allah will ease for him the Sakaraat of Death ( the moment of
death ) and will save him from the punishment of the grave and make
easy for him the crossing of the Siraat.
Hazrat Abu Amama ( R.A. ) says that the Rasulallah ( S.A.W. ) has
said that : " The bath of Friday, pull out every sin of the man from
its root.( Tibrani ) Hazrat Abu Huraira ( R.A. ) says that the Rasulallah ( S.A.W. ) has
said that : " whoever goes out for Friday prayer after making proper
ablution and listen to the sermon quietly sitting, get all his sins
forgiven not only from one Friday to the next, but also the sins of three days
more."(Muslim ) Hazrat Abdullah Bin Masud ( R.A. ) reports that Rasulallah ( S.A.W.
) had said : " The order of sitting before Allah will be just as order of attendance on Friday. Whoever comes first in mosque on Friday will have his seat nearest to Allah, the second one will have the second seat and third one will have the third seat and fourth one will also not be very far from Allah." ( Ibn Maaja )
After the Jum'ah Salaat read as follows :
Suratul-Fatiha 7 times,
Suratul-Iklaas 7 times,
Suratul-Falaq 7 times,
Suratul-Naas 7 times.
Allah said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you."
I f you are not ashamed, send this message...only if you believe.
"Yes, I love Allah. Allah is my fountain of Life and My Saviour.
Allah keeps me going day and night. Without Allah, I am no one. But
with Allah, I can do everything. Allah is my strength."
This is a simple test. If you love Allah and you are not ashamed of
all the great things that he has done for you, send this to everyone
you know, and the person that sent it to you.

ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்., ஐ.பி.எஸ்., தேர்வு எழுத விரும்பும் மாணவர்கள் சென்னையில் இலவச பயிற்சிக்காக விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம் என்று மனிதநேய அறக்கட்டளை தலைவர் சைதை துரைசாமி அறிவ

சென்னையில் சைதை துரைசாமி நிறுவியுள்ள மனிதநேய அறக்கட்டளை ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்., ஐ.பி.எஸ். தேர்வு எழுதும் மாணவர்களுக்காக இலவச பயிற்சி அளித்து வருகிறது. இந்த பயிற்சியில் கலந்து கொள்ளும் மாணவர்களுக்கு உணவு, உறைவிடம், பாட நூல்கள், யோகா பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள், சீருடைகள், போக்குவரத்து வசதிகள் என அனைத்தும் இலவசமாக வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.
கடந்த ஆண்டு இந்த அமைப்பில் ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்., ஐ.பி.எஸ். தேர்வுக்கு 100 மாணவர்களுக்கு இலவசமாக பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டது. அதில் 12 பேர் தேர்வு பெற்றுள்ளனர். இது மட்டுமல்லாமல், தமிழ்நாடு தேர்வாணையக்குழு நடத்தும் துணை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர், காவல்துறை துணை சூப்பிரண்டு போன்ற குரூப்1 பணிகளுக்கான முதல்நிலை தேர்விலும் 22 மாணவர்கள் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
கடந்த மே மாதம் இந்த மையத்தின் சார்பில் 90 மாணவர்கள் முதல் நிலை தேர்வு எழுதியுள்ளனர். இந்த தேர்வு முடிவுகள் ஆகஸ்டு மாதம் முதல் வாரத்தில் வெளியாகிறது. இவர்களுக்கான முதன்மை தேர்வு பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் ஜூலை முதல்வாரத்தில் தொடங்கப்படுகிறது.
2009ம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் நடைபெற உள்ள ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்., ஐ.பி.எஸ்., முதல்நிலை தேர்வுக்காக புதிய மாணவர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, அவர்களுக்கு இந்த மையம் சார்பில் இலவச பயிற்சி தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது. இதற்காக 8 மாதம் தொடர்ந்து மாணவர்களுக்கு பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படும். இந்த இலவச பயிற்சியில் சேருவதற்கு குறைந்தபட்ச வயது 21 ஆகும். ஏதாவது ஒரு பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும். பள்ளி, கல்லூரிகளில் சிறந்து விளங்கிய கிராமப்புற மாணவர்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிக்கப்படும்.
இந்த பயிற்சியில் சேருவதற்கான நுழைவுத்தேர்வு சென்னை, மதுரை, நாகர்கோவில், வேலூர், கரூர், ஈரோடு, திருச்சி ஆகிய இடங்களில் நடத்தப்படும்.
நேர்முகத்தேர்வு சென்னையில் நடைபெறும். இந்த நுழைவுத்தேர்வு ஜூலை மாதமும், பயிற்சியின் தொடக்கம் ஆகஸ்டு மாதமும் நடைபெறும்.
நுழைவுத்தேர்வு 2 தாள்கள் கொண்டதாக இருக்கும். முதல்தாளில் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து குறிக்கும் வினாக்களும், 2வது தாளில் கட்டுரை வடிவிலான வினாக்களும் இடம்பெறும். மொத்தம் 300 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு வினா கொடுக்கப்படும்.

Ramadan from Sept.1
Ramadan from Sept.1 in UAE
MOHAMMED Taleb Al Salamy, Chief of Astronomy Club in Abu Dhabi said that the holy month of Ramadan will begin from Sept. 1, Monday in the UAE.
Salamy added that Ramadan will be of 30 days this year.
The festival of Eid Al Fitr would be celebrated on Oct. 1.

MOHAMMED Taleb Al Salamy, Chief of Astronomy Club in Abu Dhabi said that the holy month of Ramadan will begin from Sept. 1, Monday in the UAE.
Salamy added that Ramadan will be of 30 days this year.
The festival of Eid Al Fitr would be celebrated on Oct. 1.

I usually think about TAFAREG and still receiving mails but not actively looking into it.
I wish and pray that your groups social activities rise for the good cause of humanity and our community.
I used to fondly remember all the activities with which I participated.
Please convey my salaam to all TAFAREG members and its pity that I will no more be involved with any but still will be thinking about it and remember it.
Here there are communities like that for example Global Islamic Youth Centre (http://www.giyc.com.au) and here things are bit different.
There are many muslims here and MashaAllah mosques and we even pray at our work place.
Will be missing Ramadan and especially TAFAREG trip for Umrah during Ramdan.

ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டத்தில் மெட்ரிக் தேர்வில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற மாணவி
ராமநாதபுரம் நேஷ னல் அகாடமி மெட்ரிக் பள்ளி மாணவி பாயிஹா, 471 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்று மாவட்ட அளவில் முதலி டம் பெற்றார். பாடவாரி யாக இவர் பெற்ற மதிப்பெண்: தமிழ்-93, ஆங்கிலம்-91, அறிவியல்-95, கணிதம்-99, வரலாறு மற்றும் புவியியல்-93. மாணவி பாயிஹாவின் தந்தை சகுபர் சாதிக், தாய் ஷபீகா ஆகியோர் டாக்டர்கள். பாயிஹாவின் சகோதரி தஹ்சினீ நிலோபர், கடந்த ஆண்டு பிளஸ் 2 தேர்வில் 4 பாடங்களில் 100 சதவீத மதிப்பெண் பெற்றவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. தனது வெற்றி குறித்து மாணவி பாயிஹா கூறுகையில், `பிளஸ் 2 தேர்வில் மாநில அளவில் முதலிடம் பிடிக்க வேண்டும். பின்னர் மருத்துவம் படித்து சமூக சேவை செய்வதே எனது விருப்பம்' என்றார்.

கீழக்கரை அரூஸிய்யா தைக்கா அரபு கல்லூரி பட்டமளிப்பு விழா நடைபெற்றது.
அரபு கல்லூரி
கீழக்கரையில் கடந்த 400 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு 1671-ம் ஆண்டு மேலத்தெருவில் இஸ் லாமிய மார்க்க மகான் சதக் கத்துல்லா அப்பா என்பவ ரால் அரபு கல்லூரி தொடங் கப்பட்டது. இந்த கல்லூரிக்கு அல்மதரசத்துல் அரூஸிய்யா தைக்கா அரபிகல்லூரி என்று பெயர்.
இங்கு அரபு மொழி கல்வி கற்கும் ஆலிம், உலமாக்களுக்கு இலவச உணவு, தங்குமிடம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த கல் லூரியை தைக்கா சாகிபு ஒலியுல்லா மற்றும் மார்க்க மாமேதை செய்யது முகமது மாப்பிள்ளை லெவ்வை ஆலிம் ஆகியோரின் வாரிசு கள் நிர்வகித்து வருகின்ற னர்.
பட்டமளிப்பு விழா
இந்த கல்லூரியின் மவுலவி ஆலிம் பட்டமளிப்பு விழா நடைபெற்றது. விழாவுக்கு டிரஸ்டி அல்ஹாஜ் டி.எம்.அகமது அப்துல் ஹமீது தலைமை தாங்கினார். சென்னை சுலைமான் அறக் கட் டளை தலைவர் அல்ஹாஜ் கே.எஸ்.எம்.சாகுல்ஹமீது ஆலிம் முன்னிலை வகித்தார். அல்மதரஸத்துல் அரூஸிய்யா தைக்கா டிரஸ்டி அல்ஹாஜ் கே.டி.எம். அகமது முஸ்தபா வரவேற்று பேசினார். டிரஸ்டி டி.எஸ்.ஏ.ஹமீது அப்துல் காதிர் அறிமுக உரையாற்றி னார்.கீழக்கரை நடுத்தெரு ஜும்மா பள்ளி வாசல் கத்தீபு எம்.அஜ்மத் உசேன் ஆலீம் தொடக்க உரையாற்றினார். காயல்பட்டிணம் மதரஸா மஹ்ரத்துல் காதிரியா அரபி கல்லூரி முதல்வர் எஸ்.கலந் தர் மஸ்தான் சிறப்பு விருந்தின ராக கலந்து கொண்டு பேசி னார்.
விழாவில், கல்லூரி மேனே ஜிங் டிரஸ்டி அல்ஹாஜ் டாக் டர்.தைக்கா சுஐபு அலீம் கலந்து கொண்டு மாண வர்களுக்கு மவுலானா மவு லவி பட்டங்களை வழங்கி பேசினார். இதில் தைக்கா டிரஸ்டி அல்ஹாஜ் தைக்கா அகமது ஷாகீர், கீழக் கரை செய்யது ஹமீதா அரபிக் கல்லூரி பேராசிரியர் எம்.ரபீக் அகமது, அல்மதரசத்துல் அரூ ஸிய்யா தைக்கா பேராசிரி யர்கள் கே.ஏ.முகைதீன் அப் துல் காதர், எச்.முகைதீன் அப்துல்காதர், எம்.ஐ.முகமது சுல்தான், எஸ்.எஸ்.சலாஹூ தீன் ரிபாயி ஆகியோர் வாழ்த்தி பேசினர். டிரஸ்டி, அல்ஹாஜ் தைக்கா முகமது அஷரப் மாணவர்களுக்கு பரிசுகள் வழங்கினார்.

விழாவில் சீதக்காதி அறக் கட்டளை செயலாளர் காலித் ஏ.கே.புகாரி, இ.டி.ஏ. ஸ்டார் நிறுவனங்களின் நிர்வாகி ஷாக் கிர், உஸ்வத்துன் ஹசனா சங்க செயலாளர்எம்.கே.எம்.அசன் தம்பி, கே.வி.எம்.கïம், இஸ் லாமி பைத்துல்மால் -குத்பா கமிட்டி செயலாளர் மைதீன் தம்பி, டாக்டர்.செய்யது அப் துல்காதர், என்.டி.எம்.அகமது பாரூக், சா.கி.மு.ஹபீபு முக மது உள்பட பலர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
விழாவில் ஹமீது சுல்த்தான் ஆலிம் அரூஸி உள்பட பல ருக்கு மவுலானா மவுலவி பட்டங்களும் மற்றும் அவர் கள் படித்த கல்வி படிப்புக் கான பட்டங்களும் வழங்கப் பட்டது. முடிவில் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் சலாகுதீன் ஆலிம் நன்றி கூறினார். கீழக்கரை மேலத்தெரு பள்ளிவாசல் இமாம் அல்ஹாஜ் எஸ்.ஏ.முக மது ஆரிப் ஆலிம் துஆ ஓதி னார்.

துபாயில் அமீரக தமிழர்கள் அமைப்பின் சார்பில் தமிழக கல்வியாளரும், திருநெல்வேலி சதக்கத்துல்லாஹ் அப்பா கல்லூரியின் முன்னாள் முதல்வருமான பேராசிரியர் கா. முஹம்மது ஃபாரூக் அவர்களுக்கு வரவேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சி ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மாலை துபாய் அல் கிஸஸ் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த உணவு விடுதியான யும்மி இந்தியன் உணவகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு அமீரக தமிழர்கள் அமைப்பின் நிர்வாகி பரத் தலைமை தாங்கினார். ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முஸ்தாக் அஹமது முன்னிலை வகித்தார். செயலாளர் சைபுதீன் வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். செய்தித் தொடர்பாளர் முதுவை ஹிதாயத் பேராசிரியர் கா. முஹம்மது ஃபாரூக் குறித்த அறிமுகவுரை நிகழ்த்தினார். பேராசிரியர் முஹம்மது ஃபாரூக் கல்வித்துறையில் முப்பதாண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலான அனுபவமிக்கவர். சிறந்த பேச்சாற்றலும், எழுத்தாற்றலும் மிக்க அவர் பல்வேறு கருத்தரங்குகளில் பங்கேற்றவர். பல்வேறு நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார்.

சென்னையில் இஸ்லாமிய சொற்பொழிவு
இஸ்லாமிய சேவை மையமும் அல்-கவுஸர் கல்விக் கழகமும் இணந்து சென்னை ராணி
சீதை மண்டபத்தில் நடத்திய இஸ்லாமிய சொற்பொழிவு நிகழ்ச்சியில்
ஆஸ்த்ரேலியாவைச் சேர்ந்த முனைவர் தவ்ஃபிக் சவுத்ரி, "21ம் நூற்றாண்டில்
நீங்கள் விரும்பும் மாற்றம் உங்களிலிருந்தே தொடங்க வேண்டும்" என்கிற
தலைப்பில ஓர் அற்புதமான் உரை நிகழ்த்தினார். ஆங்கிலமும், அரபியும் அவர்
நாவில் நர்த்தனம் ஆடின. திருக்குரானிலிருந்தும், நபி மொழியிலிருந்தும்
மேற்கோள்கம் சரமாரியாக வந்து விழுந்தன.
யாரையும் ஏசாமல், திட்டாமல், சர்ச்சைக்குரிய விஷயங்களைக் கிளப்பி நம்மைக்

இஸ்லாமிய ஷரியாவில் ஆய்வு நடத்தி சந்து ப்பெற்றதையே பெறுபேறாகக்
கருதுகிறார்.

சீதை மண்டபத்தில் நடத்திய இஸ்லாமிய சொற்பொழிவு நிகழ்ச்சியில்
ஆஸ்த்ரேலியாவைச் சேர்ந்த முனைவர் தவ்ஃபிக் சவுத்ரி, "21ம் நூற்றாண்டில்
நீங்கள் விரும்பும் மாற்றம் உங்களிலிருந்தே தொடங்க வேண்டும்" என்கிற
தலைப்பில ஓர் அற்புதமான் உரை நிகழ்த்தினார். ஆங்கிலமும், அரபியும் அவர்
நாவில் நர்த்தனம் ஆடின. திருக்குரானிலிருந்தும், நபி மொழியிலிருந்தும்
மேற்கோள்கம் சரமாரியாக வந்து விழுந்தன.
யாரையும் ஏசாமல், திட்டாமல், சர்ச்சைக்குரிய விஷயங்களைக் கிளப்பி நம்மைக்
குழப்பாமல், காரண காரியங்களோடு நிகழ்த்தப்பட்ட் ஒரு சொற்பொழிவு

முஸ்லிம்களெல்லாம் வன்முறையாளர்களா?
முஸ்லிம்களெல்லாம் வன்முறையாளர்களா?
முஸ்லிம் மன்னர்கள் எல்லா மன்னர்களைப் போலவும் போரிட்டனர். கொள்ளையடித்தனர். அவை மன்னர்களின் படைகளின் பொதுவான செயல்பாடு.
மன்னர்களுக்கு நாடும், செல்வமும், பெருமையும் குறியே தவிர, மக்களின் தனிப்பட்ட நம்பிக்கைகள், பண்பாடுகள், மதம் ஆகியவை பற்றி பெரிதும் கவலைப்பட்டதில்லை. இஸ்லாமியரை எதிர்த்துப் போரிட்ட சிவாஜியின் நன்றியுள்ள தளபதி இந்து.
அக்பரின் தளபதிகளும், அமைச்சர்களும் இந்துக்கள். ஒளரங்கசீப் எதிர்மறையாக அறியப்பட்ட அளவுக்கு, உபநிஷத்தை பாரசீகத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்த அவரது சகோதரர் தாரா அறியப்படவில்லை.
தவறாக இஸ்லாமியர்களாலும் புரிந்து கொள்ளப்படும் இந்த ஜிகாத் என்ற வார்த்தையின் உண்மைப் பொருள், ‘மனிதன் தன் உள்மனதுடன் நடத்தி வெல்லும் போரே’ என்கிறது திருக்குரான்.
1901ல் மெக் கென்லி துவங்கி ஜான் எப் கென்னடி வரை அமெரிக்க ஜனாதிபதிகள் எவரையும் கொன்றது இஸ்லாமியர் அல்ல. ஆஸ்திரியாவின் ஆர்ச் ட்யூக் பெர்ட்டினான்ட் படுகொலை ஐரோப்பாவையே உலுக்கியது அது முஸ்லிம்களின் செயலல்ல.
இந்திய விடுதலைக்குப்பின் ‘அப்துல்லா’ என்று பச்சை குத்திக்கொண்டு மகாத்மாவைக் கொன்ற மதவெறியன் முஸ்லீம் அல்ல. இந்தியாவின் நூற்றாண்டுப் பகைமைக்கு வித்திட்ட பாபர் மசூதி இடிப்பும், குஜராத் படுகொலையும் இஸ்லாம் வன்முறைக்கு முன்னோடிகள் அல்ல. ராஜீவ் காந்தியையும், இந்திராகாந்தியையும் கொன்றது இஸ்லாமியத் தீவிரவாதிகள் அல்ல.
காஷ்மீர், கலவரங்களுக்கு, பாகிஸ்தான் தூண்டுதலும், இஸ்லாமியரும் காரணம். ஆனால் காலிஸ்தான் வன்முறை, அஸ்ஸாம், திரிபுரா, மிசோராம், நாகலாந்து, தெலுங்கானா என எங்கும் நடக்கும் தீவிரவாதத் தாக்குதல்களுக்கு முஸ்லிம்களை காரணம் காட்டமுடியாது.
ஹிரோஷிமா, நாகசாகி, ‘நேபாம்’, பயலாஜிகல் ஆயுதம் என அழிவு விஞ்ஞானத்தை உலகின் ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டின் மீதும் பயன்படுத்தி அறிவியல் வளர்ப்பவர்கள் இஸ்லாமியர் அல்ல.
அமெரிக்காவில் 3 கோடி செவ்விந்தியரை, ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் 4 கோடிப் பழங்குடியினரைக் கொன்றதும், இரண்டரை கோடி ஆப்பிரிக்கர்களை அடிமைகளாகக் கடத்தியதும், தென்னாப்ரிக்க இனவெறியை ஆசீர்வாதம் செய்ததும் எந்த இஸ்லாமிய வன்முறையாளனும் அல்ல.
இந்த மாயையிலிருந்து விடுபடும்போது உண்மையான வன்முறையாளர்கள் யார்? உலகைத் தம் சுயநலத்திற்காக ரணகளமாக்கும் மனிதகுல எதிரிகள் யார் என்பதை உலகம் உணரும்.

தமிழாய்விற்கு அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்து தொண்டு செய்யும் தமிழறிஞர்களுள் பேரா.ஜார்ஜ் ஹார்ட் முக்கியமானவர். அவர் சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களை அருமையான ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்ததோடு அல்லாமல் சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களைச் சமஸ்கிருதம், பிராகிருதம் ஆகிய மொழிப் பாடல்களோடு ஒப்பிட்டு ஆய்வு செய்துள்ளார்.
இவர் பெர்க்கிலியிலுள்ள கலிபோர்னியா பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் 1975 முதல் தமிழ்ப் பலகை-யில் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். ஹார்வர்டு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் சமஸ்கிருதப் பட்டம் பெற்று 1969 லிருந்து சமஸ்கிருதப் பேராசிரியராக இருந்தவர். தமிழ், வடமொழி தவிர கிரேக்கம், இலத்தீன் போன்ற மொழிகளையும் கற்றவர். மலையாளம், தெலுங்கு இலக்கியங்களையும் கற்றவர். தமிழ் செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து பெறுவதற்கான தகுதிகள் அனைத்தும் பெற்றது என்று முழக்கமிட்டவர். தமிழ்மொழி பழமையான மொழி. தமிழ் மொழியிலுள்ள இலக்கியங்கள் நவீன இந்திய மொழிகளின் இலக்கியங்களை விட ஆயிரமாண்டுகள் பழமையானவை. சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் தமிழரின் தனித்தன்மைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும் இலக்கியங்கள். காளிதாசரின் செவ்வியல் இலக்கியங்களுக்கு 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் தமிழிலக்கியங்கள் தோன்றின. சமஸ்கிருதம் தென்னிந்தியாவில் தாக்கம் செலுத்துவதற்கு முன்னரே தோன்றியவை. எனவே தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள் (குறிப்பாக சங்க இலக்கியங்கள்) செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து உடையன என்று கூறினார். தமிழ் இலக்கிய மரபுகள் பிராகிருத மொழி இலக்கியங்கள் வழியாகச் சமஸ்கிருத இலக்கியங் களுக்குச் சென்றன என்ற ஆய்வு முடிவை வெளியிட்டவர். இவரது மனைவி கௌசல்யா ஹார்ட் ஒரு தமிழர். கணவருக்குத் தமிழாய்வில் உதவிகள் செய்து வருகிறார். இவரும் பெர்க்கிலி பல்கலையில் தமிழ் துறையில் பணியாற்றிவருகிறார். பெர்க்கிலியில் உள்ள கலிஃபோர்னியா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் "தமிழ்ப் பலகை" சமீபத்தில் தனது பத்தாண்டு நிறைவு விழாவைக் கொண்டாடியது. "தமிழ்ப் பலகை" தலைவர் பேரா.ஜார்ஜ் எல்.ஹார்ட் அவர்களுடனான மின்காணல்..
இந்தியாவில் அரசியல்தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் தீர்மானிக்கும்.

"1996-ல் 'தமிழ்ப் பலகை" என்பது ஓர் அறக்கட்டளை. அது பெர்க்கிலியில் எங்களால் நடத்தப்படும் தமிழ்ப் பாடத்திட்ட நடவடிக்கைளை மேற்கொள்வதற்கு உறுதுணையாக இருக்கும் பொருட்டு பணத்தை வழங்குகிறது. கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளில், கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பணம் மாநாடுகள், மாணவர்களுக்கான ஆதரவு, மற்றும் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களை அழைத்தல் போன்றவற்றிற்கு முக்கியமாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. சற்றேறக்குறைய இன்னும் 3 ஆண்டுகளில் நான் ஓய்வு பெற்றபிறகு, பெர்க்கிலியில் தமிழ்த்துறை (தமிழ் பீடம்) தொடர்ந்திருப்பதை உறுதி செய்யும் முக்கிய நோக்கத்தை இந்த அறக்கட்டளை கொண்டுள்ளது. பெர்க்கிலியில் நாங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளும் தமிழ்த்துறை நடவடிக்கை சிறிதளவாகவே இருந்தாலும் கிட்டத்தட்ட 40 ஆண்டுகாலமாக அது எங்களின் தென் ஆசிய மொழிகள் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு முக்கிய கூறாக இருந்து வந்துள்ளது. கல்வித் துறை சார்ந்த ஒரு திட்டம் நிரந்தரமாக உருவாக்கப்படுவதற்கு நீண்ட காலம் பிடிக்கும். எங்களின் திட்டத்தின் மையமாகக் கூறாக இருப்பது தமிழ்ப்பீட அறக்கட்டளையாகும். திட்டம் வெளிப்படையாக எல்லோரும் அறியும்படி இருப்பதற்கும் திட்டம் தொடர்வதற்கு மிக அத்தியாவசியாமாகவும் இந்த அறக்கட்டளை உள்ளது.
தாங்கள் அழகுபடுத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கும் பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கை பத்து ஆண்டுகள் பூர்த்திசெய்து விழா எடுக்கும் நிலையில் பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கைபோல தமிழர்கள் அதிகம் வாழும் நியூயார்க், சிகாகோ போன்ற பிற பல்கலையிலும் தமிழ் இருக்கை அமைய தங்கள் ஆலோசனை என்ன?
உலகில் உள்ள வளமிக்க மொழிகளில் தமிழ் மொழியும் ஒன்று. அதனிடம் (மற்ற நவீன இந்திய மொழிகளைப் போல் அல்லாமல்) உண்மையிலேயே செம்மையான இலக்கியப் பாரம்பரியம் உள்ளது என்பதுடன் முக்கியமான விரிவடைந்து வரும் நவீன இலக்கியமும் உள்ளது. கிட்டத்தட்ட 7 கோடி மக்களால் பேசப்படும் மொழி அது. இருந்தாலும் கூட அது மறைக்கப்பட்ட பொக்கிஷமாகவே உள்ளது. தங்களின் பாரம்பரியம் எவ்வளவு வளமையானது என்பது ஒரு சில தமிழர்கள் மட்டுமே அறிந்துள்ளனர்-தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு வெளியே மேலை நாடுகளில் கிட்டத்தட்ட அதனைப் பற்றி யாருக்கும் தெரியாது.
வட அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள மற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் தமிழ்த்துறையை அல்லது தமிழ்ப்பீடத்தை அமைப்பது உண்மையில் பெரிய செயல்தான். டொறோன்டோவில் 3 லட்சம் தமிழர்கள் (பெரும்பாலும் யாழ்ப்பாணத் தமிழர்கள்) உள்ளனர்- அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக ஒரு விரிவான தமிழ்த் துறையை தமிழ்ப் பீடத்தை டொறோன்டோ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் அமைத்து அதற்கான நிதியை நிச்சயம் அவர்களால் வழங்க முடியும். வட அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள மற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் தமிழ்த்துறையை அமைத்து அவற்றிற்கு வளமூட்டுவது பெரும் பயன்மிக்க சாதனையாக இருக்கும்.
பெர்க்கிலியில் தமிழ் விழா என்று வருடம்தோறும் நடத்தி வருவதில் தமிழ் அறிஞர்கள் பங்கேற்கச் செய்வதுண்டா?
நாங்கள் நடத்தும் மாநாட்டில் பொதுமக்களும் கலந்துகொள்ளலாம். தமிழ் மொழியில் ஆர்வம் உள்ளவர்கள் கலந்துகொள்வதை வரவேற்கிறோம்.
7 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் தமிழ் மொழிக்கு ஏன் "செம்மொழி" தகுதி வழங்கவேண்டும் என்று எழுதியிருந்தீர்கள். இப்போது தமிழ் மொழிக்கு செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து கிடைத்திருப்பது குறித்து என்ன கருதுகிறீர்கள்?
உண்மை என்ன என்றால், எந்த ஒரு நவீன தென் ஆசிய மொழிகளைப் போல் அல்லாமல், தமிழ் மொழியின்கண் உண்மையான செம்மைவாய்ந்த இலக்கியம் உள்ளது. தென் ஆசியாவின் மற்ற எந்த நவீன மொழியிடமும் சங்க இலக்கியம் போன்று ஒன்றும் இல்லை, சங்க இலக்கியம் தன் சொந்த மரபுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளதுடன் (சமஸ்கிருதத்தில் காணப்படவில்லை) கடன் வாங்கிய சொற்கள் மிகக் குறைந்த விழுக்காட்டிலேயே உள்ளது.
இதைப் பற்றி அதிகம் சொல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை ஏன் எனில் வானம் நீல நிறமானது என்ற எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த உண்மையைக் கூறுவது போலத்தான் இருக்கும். எவ்வித பகுத்தறிவுக் கேள்விக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டு, தமிழ் மொழியிடம் உண்மையான செம்மைவாய்ந்த இலக்கியம் உள்ளது.
இந்திய அரசாங்கம் இந்த உண்மையை இறுதியில் உணர்ந்து கொண்டு முடிவு செய்தது நல்ல செயல்தான் இருந்தாலும் இந்த முடிவு அரசியல் அடிப்படையில் பெரிதும் தீர்மானிக்கக்பட்டதாகத் தெரிகிறது. கன்னட மொழியின் தொடக்ககால இலக்கியம் அதன் மரபுகளையும் அதன் சொற்களையும் மஸ்கிருதத்ததிலிருந்து பெற்றது என்ற போதும், இந்திய அரசாங்கம் தற்போது கன்னட மொழியை ஒரு செம்மொழியாக அறிவிக்க உள்ளது. அதனிடம் வளமான பாரம்பரியம் உள்ளதுதான் ஆனால் அது ஆங்கிலம் அல்லது பிரஞ்சு மொழியை விட செம்மையான மொழியல்ல. இந்தியாவில் அரசியல்தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் தீர்மானிக்கும்.
ஹார்வார்டில் இயற்பியல் படிக்கப் போய் தமிழ் படிக்க நேர்ந்தது குறித்துச் சொல்லுங்களேன்?
வேதியில் மற்றும் இயற்பியலிலிருந்து சமஸ்கிருதம் மற்றும் இந்திய மொழிகள் துறைக்கு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் கற்றுக்கொடுத்த பல ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து மாறினேன். எப்படி மாறுவதற்கு இயற்பியல் பேராசிரியடம் கையொப்பம் நான் பெறவேண்டும். அவரிடம் என் திட்டத்தைச் சொன்னபோது நான் வேடிக்கையாகச் சொல்கிறேன் என்று நினைத்தார். ஆனால் என் திறன்கள்–என்னிடம் திறன்கள் இப்பினும்–அவை மொழிகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வதில்தான் இருந்தன.
சமஸ்கிருதத்தின் பால் நான் மிகவும் ஆழமாக ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தேன். நான் ஏற்கனவே பல இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய மொழிகளைக் கற்றிருந்தேன். ஆகவே அற்றுடன் தொடர்புடைய சமஸ்கிருத மொழியின் அமைப்பு முறை வளர்ச்சி குறித்து நான் வியப்புடன் கூடிய ஆர்வத்தைக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். அதன்பிறகு, நான் தமிழ் மொழியின்பால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டேன். சமஸ்கிருதத்தைப் போலவே தமிழிடமும் மிகவும் பழைமையான வளம் மிக்க இலலக்கியம் இருக்கிறது.
நான் தமிழ் மொழியைக் கற்கத் தொடங்கியதும், நான் அதன் மொழியியல் அமைப்பு முறை, சொற்றொடரியல் ஆகியவை குறித்து, அவை இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய முறை சார்ந்ததல்ல, என்பதால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டேன். மற்றொன்றையும் நான் சொல்வேன், சமஸ்கிருதத்தை விட தமிழ்தான் கணினிக்கு அதிகமான அளவில் பொருத்தமுள்ள மொழி.
ஏன் சமஸ்கிருத்தத்தில் மிகவும் சிக்கல்மிக்க இலக்கண முறை உள்ளதுடன் இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய மொழிகளிலிருந்து ஆயிரக்கணக்கான விதிவிலக்குகளையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. சமஸ்கிருத மொழியின் அசாதாரணமான சிக்கல்தன்மையை விலக்கி ஆண்டது பாணினியாரின் பெரும் சாதனையாகும். அதனை அவரால் அறிவியல்பூர்வமாகச் செய்ய முடிந்தது என்பதால் அம்மொழியை இலக்கண வாய்ப்பாட்டு முறையில் தலைசிறந்ததாக ஆக்கி விடவில்லை. திராவிட மொழிகள் நேர்த்தியான, சீரான அமைப்பு முறையைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. (தமிழ் மொழியில் எண்களை எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள் அதே வேளையில் இந்தியிலும் எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள்).
கணினியில் தமிழில் எழுத மென்பொருள் உருவாக்கவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் ஏற்பட்டது எதனால்? என்னவிதமான மென்பொருளை உருவாக்கினீர்கள்? தற்போது அந்தமென்பொருளை எவராவது பயன்படுத்துகிறார்களா?
தமிழுக்காக ஒருங்குறியீடு முறை செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டதுதான் இதன் தொடர்பில் ஏற்பட்ட அதிமுக்கிய வளர்ச்சியாகும். இது தொடர்ந்து உருவாகி வரும் ஒன்று. துரவதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக தமிழுக்கு பல மாறுபட்ட (லிசா மற்றும் மெக்கின்டோஷில் நாங்கள் 70களில் உருவாக்ககியது உட்பட) குறியீடுகள் நடைமுறைப் படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு இணையத்தளமும் வெவ்வேறான எழுத்துருக்களையும் எழுத்துக் குறியீட்டு முறையையும் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு ஆங்கில இணையத்தளமும் மாறுபட்ட, அஸ்கி குறியீட்டு முறை அல்லாத எழுத்துக்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன என்ற தோரணையில் இது செய்யப்படுகிறது என்று நினைக்கிறேன். முழுமையான எழுத்து ஒருங்குறியீடு முறையீடு இன்றி, கணினியில் தமிழ் பயன்பாடு பரவலாக இருக்காது.
பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கையில் தமிழ் பயின்ற மாணவர்கள் இன்றைக்கு குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லுமளவுக்கு தமிழ்த்துறையில் ஏதும் சாதனை செய்திருக்கிறார்களா?
எங்களின் அறக்கட்டளை பல மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆதரவளிக்க எங்களுக்கு உதவியுள்ளது. காலப்போக்கில், நாங்கள் அளித்த ஆதரவின் வழி பலர் பயன் அடைந்ததுடன் அவர்கள் தங்களின் படிப்பையும் முடித்துக்கொண்டுள்ளனர்.
30 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் நீங்கள் எழுதிய நூலில் சர்ச்சைக்குரிய கருத்துக்களை இன்றைய நிலையில் உங்கள் கோணத்தில் பார்க்கும்போது இப்படி எழுதியிருக்கலாமோ என்று தோன்றியதுண்டா?
எனது அடிப்படைக் கருத்துக்களை நான் திருத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லை. மொழி பெயர்ப்புகள் நன்றாகவும் தடைகளற்ற சுமூக ஓட்டத்துடன் இருக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன். நான் மொழிபெயர்க்கும்போது இங்கும் அங்குமாக சில துரவதிர்ஷ்டவசமான தவறுகளைச் செய்தேன் – தமிழ் போன்ற மொழியை ஒருவர் பயிலும்போது, அதன் நுட்பங்களைக் காலப்போக்கில் இயல்பாக ஒருவர் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் தன்மை மேம்படும். என்னுடைய முக்கிய பகுத்தாய்வவின் முடிவு என்னவென்றால், தொடக்ககாலத் தமிழ் இலக்கியமும் மகாராஷ்டிர பிரகிருதியும் தென் இந்திய இலக்கியப் பாரம்பரியங்களுக்கு, பல மரபுகளும் உட்பட, அதிகப் பங்களித்துள்ளன. இந்தக் கருத்துக்களை சமஸ்கிருதம் கடன் வாங்கிக்கொண்டதுடன் அனைத்து இந்தியக் கலாசாரத்தின் ஓர் கூறாக ஆகிவிட்டது. பருவ மழைக்காலத்தின்போது பிரிந்திருத்தல், மற்றும் தூதுவிடு கவிதை ஆகியவற்றை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகளாகக் கூறலாம்.
தமிழகத்தில் சாதிமதங்கள் உங்கள் பார்வையில் எப்படிப் பார்க்கிறீர்கள்?
இதில் நான் என்ன சொல்ல? என் இந்திய நண்பர் ஒருவர் அண்மையில் இந்தியாவிலிருந்து திரும்பி வந்தார். அவர் அங்கு தலித்துகளுடன் பணியாற்றினார். அங்குள்ள பிள்ளைகள் அவரின் மனதை ஆழமாகக் கவர்ந்துள்ளனர். அவர்கள் அசாத்திய அறிவு கொண்டுள்ளவர்களாகவும், கற்றுக்கொள்ள ஆர்வம் உள்ளவர்களாகவும் திறன் மிக்கவர்களாகவும் இருப்பதை அவர் கண்டார். ஆனால் நவீன இந்தியாவில் அரசியலும் சமூகக்கருத்துக்களும் அவர்களின் தற்போதைய நிலையை இழக்கச் செய்ய செயல்படுகின்றன. சாதி மறைந்து வரவில்லை, அரசியலுக்கு அது மையப்பொருளாக ஆக ஆக இப்போது அது வலுவடைந்து வருவதாகவே தெரிகிறது. பகுதறிவுக்குப் புறம்பான சாதி, என் நண்பர் பணியாற்றிய தலித்மக்களின் பிள்ளைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவது மிகவும் கவலையளிக்கக் கூடிய ஒன்று. மனித ஆற்றலையும் திறன்களையும் விரயப்படுத்துவதற்கு அது வழிவிடுகிறது. சாதி என்பது சமயப் பழக்கவழக்கமல்ல என்பதை நான் குறிப்பிட விரும்புகிறேன். அது சமூகப் பழக்கவழக்கம் சார்ந்தது. தமிழ் நாட்டில் எல்லா சமயங்களிலும் சாதி பாகுபாடுகள் இருப்பதைக் காணலாம்.

தமிழாய்விற்கு அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்து தொண்டு செய்யும் தமிழறிஞர்களுள் பேரா.ஜார்ஜ் ஹார்ட் முக்கியமானவர். அவர் சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களை அருமையான ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்ததோடு அல்லாமல் சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களைச் சமஸ்கிருதம், பிராகிருதம் ஆகிய மொழிப் பாடல்களோடு ஒப்பிட்டு ஆய்வு செய்துள்ளார்.
இவர் பெர்க்கிலியிலுள்ள கலிபோர்னியா பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் 1975 முதல் தமிழ்ப் பலகை-யில் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். ஹார்வர்டு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் சமஸ்கிருதப் பட்டம் பெற்று 1969 லிருந்து சமஸ்கிருதப் பேராசிரியராக இருந்தவர். தமிழ், வடமொழி தவிர கிரேக்கம், இலத்தீன் போன்ற மொழிகளையும் கற்றவர். மலையாளம், தெலுங்கு இலக்கியங்களையும் கற்றவர். தமிழ் செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து பெறுவதற்கான தகுதிகள் அனைத்தும் பெற்றது என்று முழக்கமிட்டவர். தமிழ்மொழி பழமையான மொழி. தமிழ் மொழியிலுள்ள இலக்கியங்கள் நவீன இந்திய மொழிகளின் இலக்கியங்களை விட ஆயிரமாண்டுகள் பழமையானவை. சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் தமிழரின் தனித்தன்மைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும் இலக்கியங்கள். காளிதாசரின் செவ்வியல் இலக்கியங்களுக்கு 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் தமிழிலக்கியங்கள் தோன்றின. சமஸ்கிருதம் தென்னிந்தியாவில் தாக்கம் செலுத்துவதற்கு முன்னரே தோன்றியவை. எனவே தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள் (குறிப்பாக சங்க இலக்கியங்கள்) செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து உடையன என்று கூறினார். தமிழ் இலக்கிய மரபுகள் பிராகிருத மொழி இலக்கியங்கள் வழியாகச் சமஸ்கிருத இலக்கியங் களுக்குச் சென்றன என்ற ஆய்வு முடிவை வெளியிட்டவர். இவரது மனைவி கௌசல்யா ஹார்ட் ஒரு தமிழர். கணவருக்குத் தமிழாய்வில் உதவிகள் செய்து வருகிறார். இவரும் பெர்க்கிலி பல்கலையில் தமிழ் துறையில் பணியாற்றிவருகிறார். பெர்க்கிலியில் உள்ள கலிஃபோர்னியா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் "தமிழ்ப் பலகை" சமீபத்தில் தனது பத்தாண்டு நிறைவு விழாவைக் கொண்டாடியது. "1996-ல் 'தமிழ்ப் பலகை" என்பது ஓர் அறக்கட்டளை. அது பெர்க்கிலியில் எங்களால் நடத்தப்படும் தமிழ்ப் பாடத்திட்ட நடவடிக்கைளை மேற்கொள்வதற்கு உறுதுணையாக இருக்கும் பொருட்டு பணத்தை வழங்குகிறது. கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளில், கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பணம் மாநாடுகள், மாணவர்களுக்கான ஆதரவு, மற்றும் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களை அழைத்தல் போன்றவற்றிற்கு முக்கியமாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. சற்றேறக்குறைய இன்னும் 3 ஆண்டுகளில் நான் ஓய்வு பெற்றபிறகு, பெர்க்கிலியில் தமிழ்த்துறை (தமிழ் பீடம்) தொடர்ந்திருப்பதை உறுதி செய்யும் முக்கிய நோக்கத்தை இந்த அறக்கட்டளை கொண்டுள்ளது. பெர்க்கிலியில் நாங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளும் தமிழ்த்துறை நடவடிக்கை சிறிதளவாகவே இருந்தாலும் கிட்டத்தட்ட 40 ஆண்டுகாலமாக அது எங்களின் தென் ஆசிய மொழிகள் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு முக்கிய கூறாக இருந்து வந்துள்ளது. கல்வித் துறை சார்ந்த ஒரு திட்டம் நிரந்தரமாக உருவாக்கப்படுவதற்கு நீண்ட காலம் பிடிக்கும். எங்களின் திட்டத்தின் மையமாகக் கூறாக இருப்பது தமிழ்ப்பீட அறக்கட்டளையாகும். திட்டம் வெளிப்படையாக எல்லோரும் அறியும்படி இருப்பதற்கும் திட்டம் தொடர்வதற்கு மிக அத்தியாவசியாமாகவும் இந்த அறக்கட்டளை உள்ளது.
தாங்கள் அழகுபடுத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கும் பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கை பத்து ஆண்டுகள் பூர்த்திசெய்து விழா எடுக்கும் நிலையில் பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கைபோல தமிழர்கள் அதிகம் வாழும் நியூயார்க், சிகாகோ போன்ற பிற பல்கலையிலும் தமிழ் இருக்கை அமைய தங்கள் ஆலோசனை என்ன?
உலகில் உள்ள வளமிக்க மொழிகளில் தமிழ் மொழியும் ஒன்று. அதனிடம் (மற்ற நவீன இந்திய மொழிகளைப் போல் அல்லாமல்) உண்மையிலேயே செம்மையான இலக்கியப் பாரம்பரியம் உள்ளது என்பதுடன் முக்கியமான விரிவடைந்து வரும் நவீன இலக்கியமும் உள்ளது. கிட்டத்தட்ட 7 கோடி மக்களால் பேசப்படும் மொழி அது. இருந்தாலும் கூட அது மறைக்கப்பட்ட பொக்கிஷமாகவே உள்ளது. தங்களின் பாரம்பரியம் எவ்வளவு வளமையானது என்பது ஒரு சில தமிழர்கள் மட்டுமே அறிந்துள்ளனர்-தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு வெளியே மேலை நாடுகளில் கிட்டத்தட்ட அதனைப் பற்றி யாருக்கும் தெரியாது.
வட அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள மற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் தமிழ்த்துறையை அல்லது தமிழ்ப்பீடத்தை அமைப்பது உண்மையில் பெரிய செயல்தான். டொறோன்டோவில் 3 லட்சம் தமிழர்கள் (பெரும்பாலும் யாழ்ப்பாணத் தமிழர்கள்) உள்ளனர்- அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக ஒரு விரிவான தமிழ்த் துறையை தமிழ்ப் பீடத்தை டொறோன்டோ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் அமைத்து அதற்கான நிதியை நிச்சயம் அவர்களால் வழங்க முடியும். வட அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள மற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் தமிழ்த்துறையை அமைத்து அவற்றிற்கு வளமூட்டுவது பெரும் பயன்மிக்க சாதனையாக இருக்கும்.
பெர்க்கிலியில் தமிழ் விழா என்று வருடம்தோறும் நடத்தி வருவதில் தமிழ் அறிஞர்கள் பங்கேற்கச் செய்வதுண்டா?
நாங்கள் நடத்தும் மாநாட்டில் பொதுமக்களும் கலந்துகொள்ளலாம். தமிழ் மொழியில் ஆர்வம் உள்ளவர்கள் கலந்துகொள்வதை வரவேற்கிறோம்.
7 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் தமிழ் மொழிக்கு ஏன் "செம்மொழி" தகுதி வழங்கவேண்டும் என்று எழுதியிருந்தீர்கள். இப்போது தமிழ் மொழிக்கு செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து கிடைத்திருப்பது குறித்து என்ன கருதுகிறீர்கள்?
உண்மை என்ன என்றால், எந்த ஒரு நவீன தென் ஆசிய மொழிகளைப் போல் அல்லாமல், தமிழ் மொழியின்கண் உண்மையான செம்மைவாய்ந்த இலக்கியம் உள்ளது. தென் ஆசியாவின் மற்ற எந்த நவீன மொழியிடமும் சங்க இலக்கியம் போன்று ஒன்றும் இல்லை, சங்க இலக்கியம் தன் சொந்த மரபுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளதுடன் (சமஸ்கிருதத்தில் காணப்படவில்லை) கடன் வாங்கிய சொற்கள் மிகக் குறைந்த விழுக்காட்டிலேயே உள்ளது.
இதைப் பற்றி அதிகம் சொல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை ஏன் எனில் வானம் நீல நிறமானது என்ற எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த உண்மையைக் கூறுவது போலத்தான் இருக்கும். எவ்வித பகுத்தறிவுக் கேள்விக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டு, தமிழ் மொழியிடம் உண்மையான செம்மைவாய்ந்த இலக்கியம் உள்ளது.
இந்திய அரசாங்கம் இந்த உண்மையை இறுதியில் உணர்ந்து கொண்டு முடிவு செய்தது நல்ல செயல்தான் இருந்தாலும் இந்த முடிவு அரசியல் அடிப்படையில் பெரிதும் தீர்மானிக்கக்பட்டதாகத் தெரிகிறது. கன்னட மொழியின் தொடக்ககால இலக்கியம் அதன் மரபுகளையும் அதன் சொற்களையும் மஸ்கிருதத்ததிலிருந்து பெற்றது என்ற போதும், இந்திய அரசாங்கம் தற்போது கன்னட மொழியை ஒரு செம்மொழியாக அறிவிக்க உள்ளது. அதனிடம் வளமான பாரம்பரியம் உள்ளதுதான் ஆனால் அது ஆங்கிலம் அல்லது பிரஞ்சு மொழியை விட செம்மையான மொழியல்ல. இந்தியாவில் அரசியல்தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் தீர்மானிக்கும்.
ஹார்வார்டில் இயற்பியல் படிக்கப் போய் தமிழ் படிக்க நேர்ந்தது குறித்துச் சொல்லுங்களேன்?
வேதியில் மற்றும் இயற்பியலிலிருந்து சமஸ்கிருதம் மற்றும் இந்திய மொழிகள் துறைக்கு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் கற்றுக்கொடுத்த பல ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து மாறினேன். எப்படி மாறுவதற்கு இயற்பியல் பேராசிரியடம் கையொப்பம் நான் பெறவேண்டும். அவரிடம் என் திட்டத்தைச் சொன்னபோது நான் வேடிக்கையாகச் சொல்கிறேன் என்று நினைத்தார். ஆனால் என் திறன்கள்–என்னிடம் திறன்கள் இப்பினும்–அவை மொழிகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வதில்தான் இருந்தன.
சமஸ்கிருதத்தின் பால் நான் மிகவும் ஆழமாக ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தேன். நான் ஏற்கனவே பல இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய மொழிகளைக் கற்றிருந்தேன். ஆகவே அற்றுடன் தொடர்புடைய சமஸ்கிருத மொழியின் அமைப்பு முறை வளர்ச்சி குறித்து நான் வியப்புடன் கூடிய ஆர்வத்தைக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். அதன்பிறகு, நான் தமிழ் மொழியின்பால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டேன். சமஸ்கிருதத்தைப் போலவே தமிழிடமும் மிகவும் பழைமையான வளம் மிக்க இலலக்கியம் இருக்கிறது.
நான் தமிழ் மொழியைக் கற்கத் தொடங்கியதும், நான் அதன் மொழியியல் அமைப்பு முறை, சொற்றொடரியல் ஆகியவை குறித்து, அவை இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய முறை சார்ந்ததல்ல, என்பதால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டேன். மற்றொன்றையும் நான் சொல்வேன், சமஸ்கிருதத்தை விட தமிழ்தான் கணினிக்கு அதிகமான அளவில் பொருத்தமுள்ள மொழி.
ஏன் சமஸ்கிருத்தத்தில் மிகவும் சிக்கல்மிக்க இலக்கண முறை உள்ளதுடன் இந்தோ-ஐரோப்பிய மொழிகளிலிருந்து ஆயிரக்கணக்கான விதிவிலக்குகளையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. சமஸ்கிருத மொழியின் அசாதாரணமான சிக்கல்தன்மையை விலக்கி ஆண்டது பாணினியாரின் பெரும் சாதனையாகும். அதனை அவரால் அறிவியல்பூர்வமாகச் செய்ய முடிந்தது என்பதால் அம்மொழியை இலக்கண வாய்ப்பாட்டு முறையில் தலைசிறந்ததாக ஆக்கி விடவில்லை. திராவிட மொழிகள் நேர்த்தியான, சீரான அமைப்பு முறையைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. (தமிழ் மொழியில் எண்களை எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள் அதே வேளையில் இந்தியிலும் எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள்).
கணினியில் தமிழில் எழுத மென்பொருள் உருவாக்கவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் ஏற்பட்டது எதனால்? என்னவிதமான மென்பொருளை உருவாக்கினீர்கள்? தற்போது அந்தமென்பொருளை எவராவது பயன்படுத்துகிறார்களா?
தமிழுக்காக ஒருங்குறியீடு முறை செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டதுதான் இதன் தொடர்பில் ஏற்பட்ட அதிமுக்கிய வளர்ச்சியாகும். இது தொடர்ந்து உருவாகி வரும் ஒன்று. துரவதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக தமிழுக்கு பல மாறுபட்ட (லிசா மற்றும் மெக்கின்டோஷில் நாங்கள் 70களில் உருவாக்ககியது உட்பட) குறியீடுகள் நடைமுறைப் படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு இணையத்தளமும் வெவ்வேறான எழுத்துருக்களையும் எழுத்துக் குறியீட்டு முறையையும் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு ஆங்கில இணையத்தளமும் மாறுபட்ட, அஸ்கி குறியீட்டு முறை அல்லாத எழுத்துக்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன என்ற தோரணையில் இது செய்யப்படுகிறது என்று நினைக்கிறேன். முழுமையான எழுத்து ஒருங்குறியீடு முறையீடு இன்றி, கணினியில் தமிழ் பயன்பாடு பரவலாக இருக்காது.
பெர்க்கிலி தமிழ் இருக்கையில் தமிழ் பயின்ற மாணவர்கள் இன்றைக்கு குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லுமளவுக்கு தமிழ்த்துறையில் ஏதும் சாதனை செய்திருக்கிறார்களா?
எங்களின் அறக்கட்டளை பல மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆதரவளிக்க எங்களுக்கு உதவியுள்ளது. காலப்போக்கில், நாங்கள் அளித்த ஆதரவின் வழி பலர் பயன் அடைந்ததுடன் அவர்கள் தங்களின் படிப்பையும் முடித்துக்கொண்டுள்ளனர்.
30 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் நீங்கள் எழுதிய நூலில் சர்ச்சைக்குரிய கருத்துக்களை இன்றைய நிலையில் உங்கள் கோணத்தில் பார்க்கும்போது இப்படி எழுதியிருக்கலாமோ என்று தோன்றியதுண்டா?
எனது அடிப்படைக் கருத்துக்களை நான் திருத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லை. மொழி பெயர்ப்புகள் நன்றாகவும் தடைகளற்ற சுமூக ஓட்டத்துடன் இருக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன். நான் மொழிபெயர்க்கும்போது இங்கும் அங்குமாக சில துரவதிர்ஷ்டவசமான தவறுகளைச் செய்தேன் – தமிழ் போன்ற மொழியை ஒருவர் பயிலும்போது, அதன் நுட்பங்களைக் காலப்போக்கில் இயல்பாக ஒருவர் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் தன்மை மேம்படும். என்னுடைய முக்கிய பகுத்தாய்வவின் முடிவு என்னவென்றால், தொடக்ககாலத் தமிழ் இலக்கியமும் மகாராஷ்டிர பிரகிருதியும் தென் இந்திய இலக்கியப் பாரம்பரியங்களுக்கு, பல மரபுகளும் உட்பட, அதிகப் பங்களித்துள்ளன. இந்தக் கருத்துக்களை சமஸ்கிருதம் கடன் வாங்கிக்கொண்டதுடன் அனைத்து இந்தியக் கலாசாரத்தின் ஓர் கூறாக ஆகிவிட்டது. பருவ மழைக்காலத்தின்போது பிரிந்திருத்தல், மற்றும் தூதுவிடு கவிதை ஆகியவற்றை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகளாகக் கூறலாம்.
தமிழகத்தில் சாதிமதங்கள் உங்கள் பார்வையில் எப்படிப் பார்க்கிறீர்கள்?
இதில் நான் என்ன சொல்ல? என் இந்திய நண்பர் ஒருவர் அண்மையில் இந்தியாவிலிருந்து திரும்பி வந்தார். அவர் அங்கு தலித்துகளுடன் பணியாற்றினார். அங்குள்ள பிள்ளைகள் அவரின் மனதை ஆழமாகக் கவர்ந்துள்ளனர். அவர்கள் அசாத்திய அறிவு கொண்டுள்ளவர்களாகவும், கற்றுக்கொள்ள ஆர்வம் உள்ளவர்களாகவும் திறன் மிக்கவர்களாகவும் இருப்பதை அவர் கண்டார். ஆனால் நவீன இந்தியாவில் அரசியலும் சமூகக்கருத்துக்களும் அவர்களின் தற்போதைய நிலையை இழக்கச் செய்ய செயல்படுகின்றன. சாதி மறைந்து வரவில்லை, அரசியலுக்கு அது மையப்பொருளாக ஆக ஆக இப்போது அது வலுவடைந்து வருவதாகவே தெரிகிறது. பகுதறிவுக்குப் புறம்பான சாதி, என் நண்பர் பணியாற்றிய தலித்மக்களின் பிள்ளைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவது மிகவும் கவலையளிக்கக் கூடிய ஒன்று. மனித ஆற்றலையும் திறன்களையும் விரயப்படுத்துவதற்கு அது வழிவிடுகிறது. சாதி என்பது சமயப் பழக்கவழக்கமல்ல என்பதை நான் குறிப்பிட விரும்புகிறேன். அது சமூகப் பழக்கவழக்கம் சார்ந்தது. தமிழ் நாட்டில் எல்லா சமயங்களிலும் சாதி பாகுபாடுகள் இருப்பதைக் காணலாம்.

Thank you very much for forwarding the admission notification of Crescent School, Vandaloor, Chennai. Even Though this is a good opportunity to educate your sons in an Islamic Environment, you should be prepare for the following:
a) your son should be passed with good marks as this school has some minimum criteria for admissions irrespective of religion.
b) you should be wealthy enough to pay according to their fee structure.
I have had a bad experience, when I have approached this school for my son's admission. He has completed his schooling in Abu Dhabi. He has passed his 10th Std. at CBSC syllabus with 66.5% of marks. Being a resident of Chennai, I have gone to Crescent school for admission directly. My son's application rejected since he has got less marks. Their criteria was 70%. I have argued with them vehimently. But no use. In the meantime, one student from Kerala given admission. He has passed in Kerala State Board examinations and had abundant marks to meet their criteria. I have told them that passing CBSC syllabus is very difficult and it has no comparison with state boards. They have rejected my claim stating that whatever syllabus they have studied, their concern is only the marks obtained.
Finally, I have returned back without admission to myson. In the meantime, I have got his admission is St. Ann's School, Porur, Chennai. He has studied there and completed his +2. Then he has studied in Dr. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering, Melvisharam, Vellore and graduated in B.E. Mechanical Engineering - passed in First Class. Now he is working is Muscat as M&E site Engineer.
So, at the last, these type of instituions have been established in Tamil Nadu for the upliftment of minority communities (muslims). The lands and grants have been allocated for this. Irrespective of this, these instituions are not interested in the welfare of the muslim community. They will educate only the wealthy muslims who can afford their fees structure and criteria. Poor muslims have no place in their institutions..... etc...... etc.....

Anybody studied abroad or their parents employed abroad is considered as wealthy and and I agree to the fact. if your priority was to educate your son in that school you would have sold your properties to accomplish it. Probably you did not feel worthy of it. Onus is upon you.
Everybody has the justifiaction on their side.
May allah reward you for your patience, Alhamdulillah, your son is good position where you are able to do that. May be another good/poor muslim might have got that oppurtunity.
By the way, cresent college is within 3 top college of the university.
May allah guide us to right path.

as brother Rawuf had.With the grace of Allah he is
successfully doing his pilot training in Canada
ALHAMDULILLAH.
I am the former Principal of a Govt
College,Madurai.In my 36 years of teaching experience
hat I can tell is there is nothing to be proud of
selecting students with high marks and producing fine
results which need no teaching or school's
efforts.Best students learn by themselves.
Secondly as all muslims kmow that Sachar
report to Govt has brought out the fact that status of
muslims is poorer than that of SCs and STs.I feel
these type of schools also have been the indirect
cause for this worst state of affairs.
Thirdly though schools are run with profit
motive nowadays,we muslims are answerable to ALLAH,we
have to do our best in developing educational
standards of muslims as a whole and especially of
women.
Finally I plead every muslim of Universe
to contribute something to achieve this goal,Insha
Allah we muslims will prove that we are not inferior
to anyone on earth.

Secondly as all muslims kmow that Sachar
report to Govt has brought out the fact that status of
muslims is poorer than that of SCs and STs.I feel
these type of schools also have been the indirect
cause for this worst state of affairs.
Thirdly though schools are run with profit
motive nowadays,we muslims are answerable to ALLAH,we
have to do our best in developing educational
standards of muslims as a whole and especially of
women.
Finally I plead every muslim of Universe
to contribute something to achieve this goal,Insha
Allah we muslims will prove that we are not inferior
to anyone on earth.

Students selected for this scholarship, amounting to Rs. 22 lakh per year, will get total financial assistance for the entire duration of their study at the college, including their hostel expenses.

கதை, கவிதை, நாடகம், கட்டுரை என்று எல்லா துறைகளையும் சேர்ந்த நூல்களையும் பரிசுக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.
கடந்த 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்குள் முதல் பதிப்பாக வெளிவந்த நூலாக இருக்க வேண்டும். 192 பக்கத்துக்கு குறையக்கூடாது. ஆசிரியர் அல்லது பதிப்பாளர் அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.
ஜுன் 30 ஆம் தேதிக்குள் வந்து சேர வேண்டும்.
அறிஞர் பெருமக்களைக் கொண்ட ஒரு தேர்வு குழு பரிசுக்குரிய தேர்வு நூலை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும்.

1. அமரர் சி.பா.ஆதித்தனார் அவர்களின் பெயரில் ஆண்டுதோறும் இலக்கியப்பரிசுகளை தினத்தந்தி நாளிதழ் வழங்குகிறது.
2. மொத்தப் பரிசுத் தொகை இரண்டரை லட்ச ரூபாய்
3. அத்தொகை தமிழில் வெளிவந்த சிறந்த இலக்கிய நூலுக்கு ஒரு லட்ச ரூபாய் என்றும், வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தமிழுக்குத் தொண்டாற்றிய முதிய தமிழ் அறிஞர் ஒருவருக்கு ஒன்றரை இலட்ச ரூபாய் என்றும் பிரித்துக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
4. ஆதித்தனார் பிறந்த நாளான செப்டம்பர் 27 ஆம் தேதி இந்தப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்படும்.
5. தேர்வுக்குழுவின் தேர்வே முடிவானது. அது எந்த ஒரு நீதிமன்றத்தின் பரிசீலனைக்கும் உரியது அல்ல.
6. பரிசைப் பகிர்ந்து அளிக்க தேர்வுக்குழுவிற்கு உரிமை உண்டு
7. பரிசுத்திட்டம் பற்றி நேரடித் தொடர்பும், கடிதப் போக்குவரத்தும் வைத்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடாது.
8. விதிகளை மாற்றவோ, புது விதிகளை சேர்க்கவோ தேர்வுக்குழுவுக்கு முழு உரிமை உண்டு.
9. ஜுன் 30 ஆம் தேதிக்குள் ஆதித்தனார் இலக்கியப் பரிசு, தினத்தந்தி, சென்னை 600 007 என்ற முகவரிக்கு நூல்கள் / தமிழறிஞர் விண்ணப்பங்கள் வந்து சேர வேண்டும்.
நூல்கள்
10. கதை, கவிதை, நாடகம், கட்டுரை என்று எல்லாத்துறை நூல்களையும் பரிசுக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.
11. ஒருவர் எத்தனை நூல்கள் ( தலைப்புகள் ) வேண்டுமானாலும் அனுப்பலாம்.
12. அச்சேறிய நூல்கள் மட்டுமே ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்படும். ஒவ்வொரு நூலிலும் 6 பிரதிகள் அனுப்ப வேண்டும். எந்தத் துறையைச் சேர்ந்த நூல் என்பதை ஒவ்வொரு பிரதியிலும் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
13. பரிசுக்குரிய ஆண்டுக்கு முன்னதாக 3 ஆண்டுக்குள் ( 2005,2006,2007 ) முதல் பதிப்பாக வெளிவந்த நூலாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
14. எழுதிய ஆசிரியர் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும். ஆசிரியர் அல்லது பதிப்பாளர் நூல்களை அனுப்பலாம்.
15. நூல் 192 பக்கத்துக்கு குறையாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும். ( கவிதை என்றால் 160 பக்கத்துக்குக் குறையக்கூடாது ) சொந்தமாக எழுதப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும். தழுவலாகவோ, மொழி பெயர்ப்பாகவோ இருக்கக்கூடாது.
16. ஆசிரியரின் சொந்த முயற்சியால் எழுதப்பட்ட நூல் என்ற உறுதிமொழியுடனும், ஆசிரியரின் கையொப்பத்துடனும் நூலை அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
17. பிரதிகள் திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படமாட்டாது.
18. ஒருமுறை பரிசீலனைக்கு அனுப்பிய நூல்களை மறு ஆண்டும் அனுப்பலாம்.
19. ஒருமுறை பரிசு பெற்றவருக்கு மீண்டும் பரிசு வழங்கப்படமாட்டாது.
தமிழறிஞர்கள்
20. தமிழ்த் தொண்டாற்றி வரும் முதுபெரும் தமிழறிஞர் பெயர்களை எவரும் பரிந்துரை செய்யலாம். அவர்கள் ஆற்றிய பணிகளையும் சுருக்கமாக எழுதி அனுப்ப வேண்டும். பிறந்த நாள் அல்லது வயது குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
21. அறிஞர் பெருமக்கள் தாங்களும் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். தங்கள் பணிகள் பற்றிய விவரங்களைத் தகுந்த சான்றுகளுடன் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
22. பெயர்களைப் பரிசீலனை செய்து, பரிசுக்குரிய ஒரு அறிஞரைத் தேர்வுக்குழு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும்.
தமிழ் அறிஞருக்கு ரூ. 1.5 லட்சம்
சிறந்த புத்தகத்துக்கு ரூ. 1 லட்சம்
அமரர் சி.பா. ஆதித்தனார் நினைவாக இந்த அண்டும் ரூ. 2.5 லட்சம் இலக்கியப் பரிசு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

கதை, கவிதை, நாடகம், கட்டுரை என்று எல்லா துறைகளையும் சேர்ந்த நூல்களையும் பரிசுக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.
கடந்த 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்குள் முதல் பதிப்பாக வெளிவந்த நூலாக இருக்க வேண்டும். 192 பக்கத்துக்கு குறையக்கூடாது. ஆசிரியர் அல்லது பதிப்பாளர் அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.
ஜுன் 30 ஆம் தேதிக்குள் வந்து சேர வேண்டும்.

1. அமரர் சி.பா.ஆதித்தனார் அவர்களின் பெயரில் ஆண்டுதோறும் இலக்கியப்பரிசுகளை தினத்தந்தி நாளிதழ் வழங்குகிறது.
2. மொத்தப் பரிசுத் தொகை இரண்டரை லட்ச ரூபாய்
3. அத்தொகை தமிழில் வெளிவந்த சிறந்த இலக்கிய நூலுக்கு ஒரு லட்ச ரூபாய் என்றும், வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தமிழுக்குத் தொண்டாற்றிய முதிய தமிழ் அறிஞர் ஒருவருக்கு ஒன்றரை இலட்ச ரூபாய் என்றும் பிரித்துக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
4. ஆதித்தனார் பிறந்த நாளான செப்டம்பர் 27 ஆம் தேதி இந்தப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்படும்.
5. தேர்வுக்குழுவின் தேர்வே முடிவானது. அது எந்த ஒரு நீதிமன்றத்தின் பரிசீலனைக்கும் உரியது அல்ல.

7. பரிசுத்திட்டம் பற்றி நேரடித் தொடர்பும், கடிதப் போக்குவரத்தும் வைத்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடாது.
