Following are the tips to control your hunger.

1.Eat small frequent meal.-They provide right amount of nutrition every few hours without causing the overflow effect..This maintains blood sugar level,thus keeping your appetite and energy level in control.

2.Do not skip meal-Skipping meals and going too long without food can turn hunger pangs into irresisitible craving.So don't skip breakfast it may lead to low energy level and craving at lunch time.

3.Eat more veggies-They are rich in fiber so they are secret weapons to control hunger.Broccolli,Cauliflower,spinach and mushrooms are super high in fiber and have almost negligible amount of calories.

4.Eat more whole grains and less refined carbohydrates.Whole grains are rich in nutrients and high in fiber so they are more filling and satisfying.

5.Eat slowly-Brain actually takes 10 minuits longer than the stomach to receive the message that it is full.Thus eating too fast might cause you to eat beyond the point of fullness without even realizing .

6.Sleep and shed those pounds-Persons who are sleeping less than 5 hours are 50% more likely to be obese than those who are sleeping for 7-9 hours.Sleep affects hormone related to appetite causing you to gain weght.

7.Drink more water-Water is healthiest,cheapest amd most easily available to suppress the appetite.Thirst is often mistaken as hunger.Also food with high water contents can fill you up easily.They naturally pack fewer calories for their volume.Toss together a salad of lettuce,cucumber,celery and tomato or fruit cup with water melon,strawberries and orange slice for a watery hunger satisfying snack.
