Expat Dependent Late Re-Entry into UAE- Easy Procedure

UAE Immigration does not allow resident expatriates to enter UAE if they
have stayed out of UAE for more than 6 months .

But there is a procedure to get a new entry permit if they stayed out of UAE for upto 18 months (approx.)

Requirements
1.Passport Copy and Visa Copy Resident ( Late Re-Entry)
2.One White Back Ground Photo
3.Sponsor Passport and Visa Copy
4.Employment Letter with salary details
5.Form typing- Fee Dhs. 100 and Typing Charges Dhs.50. at Typing Center

Submission and collection
Sponsor should go to Immigration office close to Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal
II and submit the document prepared from the typing center, you may be able
to collect the new entry permit after 3 days.

Re-Entry
Dependent Resident can enter UAE through all the airports but the new entry
permit paper has to reach the airport 2 hrs. before arrival

Asak,
Azmathullah bhai, this is applicable for Employment visa holders or only dependent visa like wife, parents or children.

My friend have UAE engineer visa and working in Qatar. Should he need to travel before every six months or not. Next thing his visa is from Dubai, not abu dhabi. Is this applicable for Dubai emirate too.
