WAR ON GAZA

What Muslims Can Do….

1. Muslims must offer special Salah and special Dua seeking help and blessings of Allah in times when other Muslim men, women and children are the target of oppression.

The following authentic supplications are recommended:

اللّهمّ إنّا نجعلك في نحورهم ونعوذبك من شرورهم

‘O Allah, We ask You to restrain them by their necks and we seek refuge in You from their evil’.

اللّهمّ منزل الكتاب, سريع الحساب, اهزم الأحزاب, اللّهمّ اهزمهم وزلزلهم

‘O Allah, Revealer of the Book, Swift to account, Defeat the groups (of disbelievers), O Allah, defeat them and shake them.’

حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل

‘Allah is sufficient for us, the Best of those on whom to depend’.

2. Stage legal and peaceful demonstrations wherever possible.

3. Involve school and college students and form human chain to register peaceful protest against the Zionist terrorism.

4. Write letters to the editors expressing anguish and mobilising public opinion against the brutal attacks.

5. Participate in the opinion poll conducted by various agencies and vote against the perpetrators of crime against humanity.

6. Muslims in different countries must form delegations comprising of right thinking people and submit a draft memorandum to the presidents and prime ministers of their countries to pressurise the Zionist regime to stop the aggression.

7. Muslim writers, teachers, media personnel, imams of masajid should explain to the people the historical background of Palestine struggle and the illegal occupation of the Jewish people in the blessed land of Palestine.

8. Contributions in form of money and medical aid must be mobilised and ensured that it reaches the victims of the most inhuman nation on earth!

9. It is unfortunate that the Arab world is not united in times of distress. Lips service must go and the Arab world must stand united in defeating the evil nexus of terror and tyranny.

10. Self-respecting nations must prevail upon the Egyptian government to open the Rafah border to help ease the tension.
