கடலில் மூழ்கிப் போன பண்டைத் தமிழகத்தின் நீளம் மட்டும் 2000 கல் தொலைவு எனலாம். அன்றைய குமரி முனைக்குத் தெற்கிலிருந்து, குமரியாறு வரை அமைந்த நிலப்பகுதி நீரில் மூழ்கிற்று அதனால்தான், அந்த ஆற்றின் பெயர் எஞ்சிய நிலப்பரப்பின் இறுதிக்குப் பெயராகக் குமரிமுனை என வருகிறது.

Objective:
The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and will be awarded through an Agency designated by the State Government/UT Administration for this purpose.

Number of scholarship:
Every year 20000 scholarships will be distributed among the students of minority communities throughout the country. Based on the state-wise population of these communities, the distribution of scholarship will be as under:

Conditions for Scholarship:
i) Financial assistance will be given to pursue degree and/or post graduate level technical and professional courses from a recognized institution. Maintenance allowance will be credited to the student’s account. The course fee will be paid by the State Department directly to the institute concerned.
ii) Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship.
iii) Students who get admission in technical/professional courses without facing any competitive examination will also be eligible for scholarship. However, such students should have not less than 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level. Selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis.
iv) Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will depend on successful completion of the course during the preceding year.
v) A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
vi) The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources.
vii) The state department will advertise the scheme every year latest by 31st March and receive the application through the concerned institutions.
viii) After scrutinizing the applications, the state department will prepare a consolidated budget for all eligible students and send an application in the prescribed pro-forma for release of fund from the Ministry of Minority Affairs for distribution of scholarship giving the details of each students viz. name, permanent address, telephone number, annual course fee, name & address of institute, whether hostler or day-scholar, etc.
ix) The application for release of fund from the state department must be received in the Ministry by 30th of September every year.
x) The state department will maintain separate bank account and records relating to the funds received from the Ministry and they will be subjected to inspection by the officers of the Ministry or any other agency designated by the Ministry.
xi) The fund for distribution of scholarship in subsequent year will be released after receiving the utilization certificate for the previous year. Annual inspection by the officers of the Ministry or any other agencies designated by the Ministry will also be carried out.
xii) 30% scholarship will be reserved for girls of each minority community in a state which is transferable to male student of that community in case of non-availability of female candidate in that community in the concerned state.
xiii) If the target for distribution of scholarship to a particular minority community in a state/UT is not fulfilled, it will be distributed among the same minority community of other States/UTs strictly in accordance with the merit.
xiv) A student residing in a particular State/UT will be entitled for scholarship under the quota of that State/UT only irrespective of his place of study.
xv) The number of scholarship has been fixed state-wise on the basis of minority population of the states/UTs. Within the state-wise allocations, the applications from reputed institutions will be exhausted first. The list of such institutions will be made available by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
xvi) The scheme will be evaluated at regular intervals and the cost of the evaluation will be borne by the Ministry of Minority Affairs under the provision of the scheme. An additional provision of 3% of the total budget will be made to meet the administrative and allied costs viz. expenditure on monitoring of the scheme, impact study, evaluation study, purchase of office equipments, engaging of contract employees, if necessary and other expenditure to run the cell etc. This will be shared between the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India and the State Governments/UT Administration.

Payment:
i) Maintenance allowance is payable from 1st April or from the month of admission, whichever is later, to the month in which the examinations are completed, (including maintenance allowance during holidays) maximum twice a year, provided that if the scholar secures admission after the 20th day of a month, the amount will be paid from the month following the month of admission.
ii) In case of renewal of scholarships awarded in the previous years, maintenance allowance will be paid from the month following the month upto which scholarship was paid in the previous year, if the course of study is continuous.
iii) The Government of the State/Union Territory Administration, to which they belong, in accordance with the procedure laid down by them in this regard, will pay the scholarship money to the selected students.
iv) Scholarship will not be paid for the period of internship/housemanship in the M.B.B.S. course or for a practical training in other course if the student is in receipt of some remuneration during the internship period or some allowance/stipend during the practical training in other course.

Other Conditions for the Award:
i) The scholarship is dependent on the satisfactory progress and conduct of the scholar. If it is reported by the Head of the Institution at any time that a scholar has by reasons of his/her own act of default failed to make satisfactory progress or has been guilty of misconduct such as resorting to or participating in strikes, irregularity in attendance without the permission of the authorities concerned etc., the authority sanctioning the scholarship may either cancel the scholarship or stop or withhold further payment for such period as it may think fit.
ii) If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid will be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government. The student concerned will be blacklisted and debarred for scholarship in any scheme forever.
iii) A scholarship awarded may be cancelled if the scholar changes the subject of the course of study for which the scholarship was originally awarded or changes the Institution of study, without prior approval of the State Government. The Head of the Institution shall report such cases to them and stop payment of the scholarship money. The amount already paid may also be recovered at the discretion of the State Government.
iv) A scholar is liable to refund the scholarship amount at the discretion of the State Government, if during the course of the year, the studies for which the scholarship has been awarded, is discontinued by him/her.
v) The regulations can be changed at anytime at the discretion of the Government of India.

Procedure for Applying
i) An application for scholarship should comprise:
a) One copy of the application for scholarship in the prescribed form (separate application forms prescribed for ‘fresh’ and renewal of scholarship by the concerned States/UTs).
b) One copy of the passport size photograph with signatures of the student thereon (for fresh scholarship).
c) One attested copy of certificates, diploma, degree etc. in respect of all examinations passed.
d) An income declaration by the self-employed parents/guardians, stating definite income from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper. Employed parents/guardians are required to obtain income certificate from their employer and for any additional income from other sources, they would furnish declaration by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.
e) Proof of permanent residence.
f) A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year on the form attached to the application duly counter-signed by the Head of the Institution concerned, if the application was in receipt of a scholarship under this scheme in the preceding year.
g) The State department should satisfy itself that the student belongs to a particular minority community.
ii) Application complete in all respects shall be submitted to the Head of the Institution, being attended or last attended by the candidates and shall be addressed to an officer specified for this purpose by the Government of State/ Union Territory to which the student belongs, in accordance with the instructions issued by them from time to time.

Funding Pattern of the Scheme:
The Scheme will be implemented by the State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, which receive 100% central assistance from Government of India for the total expenditure under the scheme.

OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) is pleased to announce that qualified undergraduate students are welcome to apply for the OFID Scholarship 2009/10. The OFID Scholarship will be awarded to support an undergraduate student from any developing country, to pursue higher education in a relevant field of development, in any recognized university/college in the world. Through its scholarship scheme, OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly driven individuals overcome one of the biggest challenges to their careers – the cost of advanced professional or graduate training. 3. Prior to the start of his/her first year studies, the student will be paid a relocation grant, equal to two-month allowance. OFID will also pay for travel costs from the nearest airport to the student’s place of residence, to the nearest airport to the chosen place of study. Upon completion of the studies, the student will be paid the cost of one-way air ticket to his/her home country.

1. A completed on-line application form.
2. A scanned copy of the last university degree or certificate.
3. A scanned letter of acceptance from your chosen educational institution, confirming your admission, subject of study and duration of the Master’s degree program (must not exceed a maximum of two years).

5. A short essay – of about 250 words in English – giving reasons for applying for OFID’s scholarship, explaining your educational goals, and clearly describing how you will use the experience gained from your Masters degree studies to help in the development of your home country.

Now we need a revolution, not for changing others, but to change ourselves
The spiritual weapon of self-purification, intangible as it seems, is the most potent means of revolutionizing one's environment and loosening external shackles. It works subtly and invisibly; it is an intense process though it might often seem a weary and long-drawn one. It is the straightest way to liberation. The surest and quickest and no effort can be too great for it. What it requires is faith.

கட்டுரைப் போட்டிக்கான விதிகள் :

1. போட்டியாளர் மேற்கூறப்பட்ட தலைப்புகளில் அதிகபட்சமாக மூன்று தலைப்பில் கட்டுரைகளைச் சமர்ப்பிக்கலாம்.
2. கொடுக்கப்பட்ட தலைப்பைத் தழுவி மட்டுமே கட்டுரை இருத்தல் வேண்டும்; சம்பந்தப்பட்டத் தலைப்புக்கான தீர்வு இஸ்லாமிய அடிப்படையில் அலசப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
3. போட்டியாளர் சமர்ப்பிக்கும் கட்டுரைகள் தானே சொந்தமாய் எழுதியதாகவும் முன் எந்தத் தாளிகளிலோ இணையத் தளத்திலோ வெளியிடப்படாததாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.
4. குர்ஆன், ஹதீஸ் ஆதாரங்களைக் குறிப்பிடும் பொழுதுத் தெளிவாக எண்களுடன் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
5. கட்டுரை கண்ணியமிக்கதாக இருக்க வேண்டும். எந்த நாட்டினதும் சமயம், அரசியல் கட்சி, இயக்கங்கள் ஆகியவற்றையோ தனிமனிதரையோ இழித்துரைப்பதாகவோ தாக்குவதாகவோ இல்லாமல், தெளிவான ஆதாரங்களுடனும் அழகிய வாதங்களுடன் ஓர் அழகிய இஸ்லாமியப் படைப்பு என்ற தகுதியை நாடுவதாகவும் நயத்துடனும் எழுதப்படவேண்டும்.
6. போட்டிக்குச் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படும் அனைத்து ஆக்கங்களும் கட்டுரைப்போட்டி குழுவினர்களால் தணிக்கை செய்யப்பட்டு தளத்தில் பதிக்கப்படும்.
7. கட்டுரைப் போட்டியில் பங்குபெறுபவருக்கு வயதிற்கான வரம்பு ஏதுமில்லை.
8. பரிசுக்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் செய்தி அறிவிக்கப்படும்.
9. தமிழ் அறிந்த சர்வதேச அளவிலான அனைத்துலக வாசகர்களுக்கும் இப்போட்டியில் கலந்து கொள்ளலாம்.
10. சத்தியமார்க்கம்.காம் தளத்தின் நிர்வாகிகள் மற்றும் அவர்கள் குடும்பத்தினர், குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் போட்டிகளில் பங்குபெற முடியாது.
11. போட்டியாளர் கண்டிப்பாகத் தனது தொடர்பு எண்ணைத் தவறாமல் கட்டுரையின் இறுதியில் தெரிவித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
12. நடுவர் குழுவின் முடிவே இறுதியானது.

கட்டுரை எழுதுபவர் கவனத்திற்கு :
------------------------------
1. கட்டுரைகள் தட்டச்சியோ அல்லது கையெழுத்துப் பிரதியாகவோ எவ்வடிவில் வேண்டுமானாலும் சமர்ப்பிக்கலாம்.
2. கட்டுரை தட்டச்சப்பட்டு அனுப்பப்படுகிறது எனில், கட்டுரையின் எழுத்துரு எண் 10 அளவை தேர்ந்தெடுத்துத் தட்டச்சு செய்யப்பட்டு, A4 தாள் அளவில் மூன்று பக்கங்களுக்குக் குறையாமலும், ஐந்து பக்கங்களுக்கு மிகாமலும் இருக்க வேண்டும். கட்டுரை வரைவதற்குத் துணை நின்ற நூல்கள், துணை ஆக்கங்களுக்கான குறிப்புக்களைக் கட்டுரையின் இறுதியில் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும். இணைய தளத்திலிருந்து எடுக்கப் பட்டிருந்தால் தள முகவரியைக் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும். சுட்டப்படும் ஆதாரங்கள் இணையத்தில் இல்லாத பட்சத்தில், குறிப்பிட்ட ஆதாரத்தை ஸ்கேன் செய்து இணைக்கலாம். போட்டிக்குச் சமர்ப்பிக்கும் கட்டுரையின் துவக்கப் பக்கத்தில் கட்டுரைக்கான தலைப்பைக் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
3. குர்ஆன், ஹதீஸ்களை பக்கபலமாக சேர்க்க விரும்புபவர்கள், மிகவும் அவசியப்பட்ட இடங்களில் மட்டுமே சேர்க்கவேண்டும். அதிக அளவில் இறைவசனங்களைச் சேர்ப்பதைத் தவிர்க்கவும். இறைவசனங்கள், ஹதீஸ் சம்பவங்களைச் சுருக்கமாகக் குறிப்பிட்டு, சொல்லவரும் கருத்துக்கு அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுப்பது சிறப்பு.
4. கட்டுரையாளரின் பெயர் மற்றும் தொடர்பு தொலைபேசி எண்ணிட்டு முழு முகவரியுடன் 15.12.2008 அன்று இந்திய நேரம் இரவு 12 மணிக்குள் அனுப்பிவிட வேண்டும். குறிப்பிட்ட நாளுக்குப் பிறகு வந்து சேரும் ஆக்கங்கள் போட்டிக்குப் பரிசீலிக்கப்படாது.

7. வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களின் பெயர்கள் சத்தியமார்க்கம்.காம் தளத்தில் வெளியிடப்படும். வெற்றியாளர்கள் விரும்பினால் அவர்களைப் பற்றிய ஓர் அறிமுகத்தையும் சத்தியமார்க்கம்.காம் வெளியிடும். பெயர்களை வெளியிட விரும்பாதவர்கள் இருப்பின் அவர்கள் வெளியிட விரும்பும் புனைப்பெயர்களின் விபரங்களைக் கட்டுரையின் முடிவில் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.

தெரிந்ததே. நமது எழுத்துக்கூட கிரீடத்தில் மற்றோர் இறகாக கடந்த வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அன்று
எழுத்துக்கூடத்தின் தமிழ் நூலகம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எழுத்துக்கூடத்தின் இரண்டு வருட கனவு

இரத்தத்தில் உள்ள பிளாஸ்மாவைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து அதில் உள்ள உயிர்மூலக் கூறுகளை
லேசர் ஒளி மூலம் பகுத்தெடுத்தார்.இதேபோல் அதிகாலையில் வரும் முதல் சிறுநீர்த்துளியின் மூலக்
கூறுகளையும் பகுத்தெடுத்தார்.இவைகளை ஆய்வுக்குட்படுத்தி நோயற்றவர்களிடம் இல்லாத
சில மூலக்கூறுகள் புற்றுநோய் உள்ளவர்களிடம் அளவுக்கு மீறி இருந்தன.இதைக் கொண்டு புதிதாக
மாசிலா புற்றுநோய் ஆய்வு (Masila Cancer Diagnostic) என்ற புதியக் கருத்தமைவை (Technique)கொண்டுவந்தார்
இதன் மூலம் வெறும் 5 மி.லி இரத்தமும் 5 மி.லி சிறுநீரும் கொண்டு ஒருவருக்கு புற்றுநோய்
இருக்கிறதா இல்லையா , இருந்து குணமாகி விட்டதா அல்லது மீண்டும் வந்திருக்கிறதா என்பன போன்ற பலவிஷயங்களை கணிக்கமுடியும்.இந்தப் புதிய முறை இந்திய மத்திய அரசின் ICMR ல்
தர நிர்ணயம் செய்யப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
இந்த முறையின் தொடர் ஆராய்ச்சிக் காரணமாகத்தான் நுரையீரல் புற்று நோய்க்கு மட்டும்
தனித்துக் காட்டும் புது உயிர்மூலக்கூறு பற்றியும் கண்டுபிடித்தார்.இந்த முறையின்
நம்பகத்தன்மை (Reliablity) 80% என்பதும் இதுவரையில் இத்தகைய்ய Biomarker நுரையீரல் புற்றுநோய்க்கு கண்டுபிடிக்கப்படவில்லை.
இந்த புதிய முறையின் துணைக் கொண்டு நுரையீரல் புற்று நோயின் துவக்க நிலையைக் கண்டறிவது

துபாயில் ஆயிரத்தெட்டு சங்கமும் அமைப்பும் இருந்தாலும் அமீரகத் தமிழ் கவிஞர்கள் பேரவை தான் இன்னும் இலக்கிய விழாக்களை நடத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இந்த வெள்ளிக்கிழமை மாலை ’கவிதை கூடல்’ தலைமை கவிக்கோ அப்துல் ரஹ்மான் என்றதும் அவர்கள் உரையை கேட்டே ஆகவேண்டுமென்று வீட்டில் உத்தரவு வாங்கிவிட்டு குழந்தைகளுடன் கிளம்பிவிட்டேன்.
இஷாவிற்கு பிறகு கிளம்பி சென்றதால் விழா ஆரம்பித்துவிடும் என்று தெரிந்திருந்தாலும் பலர் பேசிய பிறகு கடைசியில் தான் கவிக்கோ பேசுவார் என்ற எண்ணத்தில் சற்று தாமதமாகச் சென்று விட்டேன். உள்நுழைந்ததும்தான் அது கேள்வி- பதில் நேரம் என்று தெரிந்தது. முதல் கேள்வியை முத்துகுமரன் சுவாரஸ்யத்துடன் ஆரம்பித்தார். 'புதுக்கவிதை எழுதுபவருக்கு மரபுக் கவிதை தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டுமா?' என்று கேட்க. ’இப்படி உங்களுக்கு தோன்றுவதே பெரிய விஷயம்தான்’ என்று தொடங்கிய கவிக்கோ புதுக்கவிதையை பெரும்பாலோர் வசனக்கவிதையாக கருத்தை முதலிடம் கொண்டு எழுதிவிடுகிறார்கள். கருத்தை மட்டும் கொண்டது கவிதையாகிவிடாது நயமும் அவசியமென்றார்கள்.
ஒவ்வொருவரும் தமக்குத் தோன்றும் கேள்விகளை கேட்டுத் துளைத்ததற்கெல்லாம் ஊற்றாக தனது அனுபவத்தை வடித்தார்கள் கவிக்கோ. கவிதையை வரையறுக்கக் கேட்டதற்கு, அதை புரிய வைக்க ஒரு குட்டிக் கதை சொன்னார்கள். மனிதனை வரையறுக்க ஒரு கூட்டம் கூடியதாம் அதில் இரு கால் மிருகம் தான் மனிதன் என்று ஒருவர் சொல்ல, இன்னொருவர் 10 நிமிடத்தில் வருகிறேன் என்று ஒரு கோழியை கொண்டு வந்து ‘அப்ப இது மனிதனா’ என்று கேலி செய்ய, சரி இறகில்லாத இரண்டு கால் பிராணி தான் மனிதன் என்று முடிக்கும் முன் மறுபடியும் 10 நிமிடத்தில் வருகிறேன் என்று சொல்லி சென்றவர் இறகில்லாத கோழியை மறுபடியும் கொண்டு வந்து கேள்வி கேட்க - மனிதனை வரையறுக்க முடியாது என்று முடிவானதாம். அதே போல் தான் கவிதையையும் வரையறுக்க முடியாது என்று முடித்தார்கள்.
கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவர் நீங்கள் காக்கை பற்றி எழுதியிருந்தீர்கள் அந்த கருத்து இங்கிருக்கும் பலருக்கு ஒப்புதலாக இருக்காது அதனை கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன் என்றதும். பல விஷயங்களை பல தளத்தில் பல ஆண்டுகளாக எழுதித் தள்ளுபவருக்கு அது எப்படி நினைவிருக்கும் ஆகையால் என்ன எழுதியிருந்தேன் என்று கேட்டவரையே திரும்பி வினவ. அவரும் அவருக்கு நினைவூட்டுவதாக அதனை எடுத்து தர, புரிந்துக் கொண்ட கவிக்கோ அவர்கள் விவரித்தார்கள். அவர் கறி வாங்க சென்றிருந்த போது ஒரு காக்கை சக காக்கையை சாப்பிட விடாமல் கொத்துவதை கண்டு வியந்தவருக்கு இது எப்படி சாத்தியம் என்று தோன்றியதாம். காக்கையென்றாலே ஒரு வாய் சோறு கிடைத்தாலும் எல்லா காக்கைகளையும் அழைத்து உண்ணுமே இது என்ன வகையென்று யோசிக்கும் போது அவருக்கு பழங்காலத்தில் அரசர்களின் வினை நினைவுக்கு வந்ததாம். அரசர்கள் தான் உண்ணும் முன்பு அதில் விஷம் கலந்திருக்கிறதா என்று அறிந்து கொள்வதற்காக நிறைய பொருட்களும் தங்கமும் தந்து தன்னுடனே ஒரு ஆளை தமக்காக முதலில் சாப்பிட்டு அதில் விஷமில்லாத பட்சத்தில் அரசர்கள் உண்ணுவார்களாம். சிலர் இந்த விஷயங்களுக்காக மைனாவையோ அல்லது வேறு பிராணிகளையோ வளர்ப்பார்களாம். விஷத்தை அருகில் கொண்டு சென்றாலே மைனாவின் கண்கள் சிவந்துவிடுமாம். அந்த விஷயம்தான் இந்த காக்கையின் செயலும் - காக்கை இயற்கையான பண்டத்தை பகிர்ந்து உண்ணாது மனிதன் படைத்த செயற்கையான உணவின் மீது நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல் சக காக்கைகளை அழைத்து உண்ணக் கண்டு பிறகு தின்று கொள்கிறதாக அவர் உணர்ந்ததாக கூறினார். அவர் கூற்றில் உண்மையிருக்கிறதோ இல்லையோ சிந்தனை மிகவும் வித்தியாசமாக தோன்றியது.
தமிழை செம்மொழியாக்குவதின் பயன்களை விளக்கும் போது இந்தியப் பல்கலைக்கழக மானியக் குழு தமிழை செம்மொழியாக ஏற்றால், உலகப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் அனைத்தும் அதை ஏற்கும், பன்னாட்டு மொழிக் கலைக் களஞ்சியங்களில் - தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள், பண்பாட்டுக் கருத்துக்கள், கலாச்சாரம் இவற்றை விளக்குவதற்காக தமிழ் தெரிந்தவர்களுக்கு அதிக வேலை வாய்ப்பு வரக்கூடும். ஓய்வு பெற்றவர் தமிழ் அறிஞர்களுக்கு கூட நல்லவேளை வரக்கூடும் என்று நான் அறியாத விஷயங்களையும் அறிய வைத்தார்.
படிமம், குறியீடு பற்றி பேசும் போது ’பெண்ணே உன் கண்கள் மீன்கள்’ என்று வடித்த வாக்கியத்தில் கூட பல விஷயங்கள் ஒளிந்து கிடப்பதை கூறினார். கண்கள் மீன் வடிவில் இருப்பதால் சொல்லியிருக்கலாம் அல்லது வலை வீசச் சொல்கிறதாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம், எப்போதுமே தண்ணீரில் இருக்கிறது என்பதாகவும் பொருட்கொள்ளலாம் என்று ஒரே விஷயத்திற்கு பல கோணங்கள் உண்டு வாசிப்பவரின் அனுகுமுறையை பொருத்தே குறியீடுகளை புரிந்துக் கொள்ள முடியுமே தவிர எழுதுபவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் விளக்கி எழுத முடியாது அப்படி விவரித்திருந்தால் அது கவிதையல்ல என்பதற்கு உதாரணமாக
‘என் மனம்
அவளை நினைப்பேனென
அடம்பிடிக்கிறது - நான்
அதட்டினால் அழுகிறது’
என்று சொல்லும் போது மனதை படிமமாக்கி குழந்தையாக்கி கவிஞர் சொல்ல வருவது சிறப்பே தவிர மனம் குழந்தை போல் அடம்பிடிக்கிறது நான் அதட்டினால் அழுகிறது என்று விளக்குவதில் கவிதை காணாமல் போய்விடுகிறது என்று அவர் பாணியில் விளக்கினார்.
கவிஞர்கள் என்றாலே கொஞ்சம் கோபம் இருக்கும் இருக்க வேண்டும் அப்படியிருந்தால்தான் எழுத்தில் வீரியமிருக்கும், வார்த்தைகளில் உண்மையிருக்கும் என்பதற்கு கவிக்கோ ஒரு சிறந்த சான்று. ‘வணக்கம்’ பற்றி எழுந்த சர்ச்சைக்குரிய கேள்விக்கு பதில் சொல்லும் போது அவரை பேசவிடாமல் இடைமறித்து பேசிக்கொண்டே போனவரிடம் ‘நான் பேசி முடிக்கும் முன்பே நீங்கள் தவறாக புரிந்துக் கொண்டு பேசிக் கொண்டே போனால் எப்படி’ என்று கண்டிப்பாக கேட்ட குரலில் நியாயமிருந்தது. அதையும் தொடர்ந்து விடாது இடைமறித்ததால் ஒலிவாங்கியை கீழே வைத்துவிட்டு ’நீங்களே பேசி முடியுங்கள்’ என்று சொன்னதில் அவர் கோபம் தெரிந்தது. அதனை தொடர்ந்து அவர் தந்த விளக்கம் அற்புதமாக அமைந்தது. எந்த ஒரு வார்த்தைக்கும் பல பொருள் புரிந்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ’கோ’ என்றால் அது மாடு என்றும் பொருள் தரும் அரசன் என்றும் பொருள் தரும். வீடு என்ற சொல் பின்னாட்களில் கண்டுபிடித்த சொல், ஆரம்பத்தில் கோவில் என்றே சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அரசன் வசிக்குமிடம் கோவில் ஆனது. அந்த காலத்தில் அரசரை தெய்வமாக கருதி வந்ததால் அரசர் வசிக்குமிடம் கோவிலானது பின்பு வேறுபடுத்த வீடு தோன்றியிருக்கலாம். மொழி என்பது காலத்தோடு வளர்ந்துக் கொண்டே உருமாறிக் கொண்டே போகும் விஷயம். ஆகையால் ‘வணக்கம்’ என்ற வார்த்தை வணங்குதலாகிவிடாது. தொழுகைக்கு நேரமாகிவிட்டது தொழுது விட்டு வருகிறேன் என்றுதானே சொல்கிறோம் மாறாக வணங்கிவிட்டு வருகிறேன் என்று கூடச் சொல்லவில்லையே அப்படியிருக்க ஏன் அந்த நிய்யத்தில்லாத வெறும் வார்த்தைக்கு புதிதாய் அர்த்தம் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறார்கள். உங்களுக்கு அந்த சொல் பிடிக்கவில்லையா சொல்லாதீர்கள் ஆனால் மற்றவரையும் அப்படித்தான் இருக்க வேண்டும் நீ தவறு செய்கிறாய் என்று எந்த அளவுக்கு தவறு என்று தெரியாமலே சுட்டிக் காட்டாதீர்கள். இஸ்லாத்தை முதலில் சரியாக புரிந்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள் பிறகு வாதிடலாம் என்றார்கள். அவர் சொன்னது சத்தியமான வார்த்தையாகப்பட்டது எனக்கு. ’கடவுளின் முகவரி’ அறிந்தவருக்கு இதைக் கூட புரிய வைக்க முடியாதா என்ன?
அவரிடம் கேட்க என்னிடம் இரண்டு கேள்விகள் இருந்தது. ஒன்று இக்காலத்து பெண்ணியவாதி என்ற பெயரில் சிலரும் மற்றவர்களும் படைப்பில் நாக்கூசப்படும் சொற்களைக் கூட பாவித்து எழுதுகிறார்களே, சர்ச்சைக்குரியவர்களாகி எளிதில் பிரபலமாகும் குறுக்கு வழி கொண்டவர்களை பற்றிய அவருடைய கருத்து. இதனை வேறு விதமாக அழகாக நண்பர் ஷாஜி கேட்க, கவிக்கோ அவர்கள் அதனை எதிர்த்து வருவதாகவே சொன்னார்கள் அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் அது நிலைக்காது என்றும் ஆருடம் சொன்னவர்களை அய்யனார் நண்பர் என்று எங்களிடம் அறிமுகமான அசோக் ’அதில் என்ன தவறு? கவிஞர் அவர்களையே கொண்டாடிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்’ அவ்வளவுதான் என்று எதிர்வாதம் செய்ய. ’கொண்டாடிக் கொள்ளட்டும் ஆனால் உடல் உறுப்புக்கு அவசியமென்ன’ என்று கவிக்கோ கேட்டதற்கு. அவர் எதை சொல்கிறார் என்று தெரிந்தும் கவிஞர்கள் எல்லா உறுப்புகளை பற்றியும்தான் பேசுகிறார்கள் எது ஆபாசமென்று யார் தீர்மானிப்பது என்று கொதித்தெழுந்தார் அவர், அதன் பின் நிலைமை சீரானது.
என்னுடைய இரண்டாவது கேள்வி, 'தனக்கென்று ஒரு இடத்தை பிடித்துக் கொண்ட கவிக்கோ மற்றவர்களை விட எப்படி தனித்து நிற்கிறார்கள்’ என்பது. இந்த கேள்வியை தனியாக கேட்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் வரவில்லை. அது சொல்லாமலே எனக்கு புரிந்துவிட்டது.
இலக்கிய விழா என்றாலே இரம்பம், அறுவையாக இருக்கும் என்று சொல்பவர்களுக்கு நாமம் போடும் வகையில் மிக சிறப்பாக சுவாரஸ்யமாக அமைந்திருந்தது இந்த விழா. அதற்குக் காரணம் முழுக்க முழுக்க கவிக்கோ தான். கேட்டுவிட்டார்களே என்பதற்கான பதிலாக மட்டும் இல்லாமல் இரசிக்கும் படியானதாகவும் அமைந்திருந்தது அவருடைய ஒவ்வொரு பதிலும். கவிதை தெரியாதவர்கள் இக்கூட்டத்ததிற்கு வந்திருந்தால் கூட கவிதைப் பற்றிய ஆர்வம் மிகுந்திருக்கும் என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை.

துபாயில் ஆயிரத்தெட்டு சங்கமும் அமைப்பும் இருந்தாலும் அமீரகத் தமிழ் கவிஞர்கள் பேரவை தான் இன்னும் இலக்கிய விழாக்களை நடத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இந்த வெள்ளிக்கிழமை மாலை ’கவிதை கூடல்’ தலைமை கவிக்கோ அப்துல் ரஹ்மான் என்றதும் அவர்கள் உரையை கேட்டே ஆகவேண்டுமென்று வீட்டில் உத்தரவு வாங்கிவிட்டு குழந்தைகளுடன் கிளம்பிவிட்டேன்.
இஷாவிற்கு பிறகு கிளம்பி சென்றதால் விழா ஆரம்பித்துவிடும் என்று தெரிந்திருந்தாலும் பலர் பேசிய பிறகு கடைசியில் தான் கவிக்கோ பேசுவார் என்ற எண்ணத்தில் சற்று தாமதமாகச் சென்று விட்டேன். உள்நுழைந்ததும்தான் அது கேள்வி- பதில் நேரம் என்று தெரிந்தது. முதல் கேள்வியை முத்துகுமரன் சுவாரஸ்யத்துடன் ஆரம்பித்தார். 'புதுக்கவிதை எழுதுபவருக்கு மரபுக் கவிதை தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டுமா?' என்று கேட்க. ’இப்படி உங்களுக்கு தோன்றுவதே பெரிய விஷயம்தான்’ என்று தொடங்கிய கவிக்கோ புதுக்கவிதையை பெரும்பாலோர் வசனக்கவிதையாக கருத்தை முதலிடம் கொண்டு எழுதிவிடுகிறார்கள். கருத்தை மட்டும் கொண்டது கவிதையாகிவிடாது நயமும் அவசியமென்றார்கள்.
ஒவ்வொருவரும் தமக்குத் தோன்றும் கேள்விகளை கேட்டுத் துளைத்ததற்கெல்லாம் ஊற்றாக தனது அனுபவத்தை வடித்தார்கள் கவிக்கோ. கவிதையை வரையறுக்கக் கேட்டதற்கு, அதை புரிய வைக்க ஒரு குட்டிக் கதை சொன்னார்கள். மனிதனை வரையறுக்க ஒரு கூட்டம் கூடியதாம் அதில் இரு கால் மிருகம் தான் மனிதன் என்று ஒருவர் சொல்ல, இன்னொருவர் 10 நிமிடத்தில் வருகிறேன் என்று ஒரு கோழியை கொண்டு வந்து ‘அப்ப இது மனிதனா’ என்று கேலி செய்ய, சரி இறகில்லாத இரண்டு கால் பிராணி தான் மனிதன் என்று முடிக்கும் முன் மறுபடியும் 10 நிமிடத்தில் வருகிறேன் என்று சொல்லி சென்றவர் இறகில்லாத கோழியை மறுபடியும் கொண்டு வந்து கேள்வி கேட்க - மனிதனை வரையறுக்க முடியாது என்று முடிவானதாம். அதே போல் தான் கவிதையையும் வரையறுக்க முடியாது என்று முடித்தார்கள்.
கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவர் நீங்கள் காக்கை பற்றி எழுதியிருந்தீர்கள் அந்த கருத்து இங்கிருக்கும் பலருக்கு ஒப்புதலாக இருக்காது அதனை கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன் என்றதும். பல விஷயங்களை பல தளத்தில் பல ஆண்டுகளாக எழுதித் தள்ளுபவருக்கு அது எப்படி நினைவிருக்கும் ஆகையால் என்ன எழுதியிருந்தேன் என்று கேட்டவரையே திரும்பி வினவ. அவரும் அவருக்கு நினைவூட்டுவதாக அதனை எடுத்து தர, புரிந்துக் கொண்ட கவிக்கோ அவர்கள் விவரித்தார்கள். அவர் கறி வாங்க சென்றிருந்த போது ஒரு காக்கை சக காக்கையை சாப்பிட விடாமல் கொத்துவதை கண்டு வியந்தவருக்கு இது எப்படி சாத்தியம் என்று தோன்றியதாம். காக்கையென்றாலே ஒரு வாய் சோறு கிடைத்தாலும் எல்லா காக்கைகளையும் அழைத்து உண்ணுமே இது என்ன வகையென்று யோசிக்கும் போது அவருக்கு பழங்காலத்தில் அரசர்களின் வினை நினைவுக்கு வந்ததாம். அரசர்கள் தான் உண்ணும் முன்பு அதில் விஷம் கலந்திருக்கிறதா என்று அறிந்து கொள்வதற்காக நிறைய பொருட்களும் தங்கமும் தந்து தன்னுடனே ஒரு ஆளை தமக்காக முதலில் சாப்பிட்டு அதில் விஷமில்லாத பட்சத்தில் அரசர்கள் உண்ணுவார்களாம். சிலர் இந்த விஷயங்களுக்காக மைனாவையோ அல்லது வேறு பிராணிகளையோ வளர்ப்பார்களாம். விஷத்தை அருகில் கொண்டு சென்றாலே மைனாவின் கண்கள் சிவந்துவிடுமாம். அந்த விஷயம்தான் இந்த காக்கையின் செயலும் - காக்கை இயற்கையான பண்டத்தை பகிர்ந்து உண்ணாது மனிதன் படைத்த செயற்கையான உணவின் மீது நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல் சக காக்கைகளை அழைத்து உண்ணக் கண்டு பிறகு தின்று கொள்கிறதாக அவர் உணர்ந்ததாக கூறினார். அவர் கூற்றில் உண்மையிருக்கிறதோ இல்லையோ சிந்தனை மிகவும் வித்தியாசமாக தோன்றியது.
தமிழை செம்மொழியாக்குவதின் பயன்களை விளக்கும் போது இந்தியப் பல்கலைக்கழக மானியக் குழு தமிழை செம்மொழியாக ஏற்றால், உலகப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் அனைத்தும் அதை ஏற்கும், பன்னாட்டு மொழிக் கலைக் களஞ்சியங்களில் - தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள், பண்பாட்டுக் கருத்துக்கள், கலாச்சாரம் இவற்றை விளக்குவதற்காக தமிழ் தெரிந்தவர்களுக்கு அதிக வேலை வாய்ப்பு வரக்கூடும். ஓய்வு பெற்றவர் தமிழ் அறிஞர்களுக்கு கூட நல்லவேளை வரக்கூடும் என்று நான் அறியாத விஷயங்களையும் அறிய வைத்தார்.
படிமம், குறியீடு பற்றி பேசும் போது ’பெண்ணே உன் கண்கள் மீன்கள்’ என்று வடித்த வாக்கியத்தில் கூட பல விஷயங்கள் ஒளிந்து கிடப்பதை கூறினார். கண்கள் மீன் வடிவில் இருப்பதால் சொல்லியிருக்கலாம் அல்லது வலை வீசச் சொல்கிறதாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம், எப்போதுமே தண்ணீரில் இருக்கிறது என்பதாகவும் பொருட்கொள்ளலாம் என்று ஒரே விஷயத்திற்கு பல கோணங்கள் உண்டு வாசிப்பவரின் அனுகுமுறையை பொருத்தே குறியீடுகளை புரிந்துக் கொள்ள முடியுமே தவிர எழுதுபவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் விளக்கி எழுத முடியாது அப்படி விவரித்திருந்தால் அது கவிதையல்ல என்பதற்கு உதாரணமாக

என்று சொல்லும் போது மனதை படிமமாக்கி குழந்தையாக்கி கவிஞர் சொல்ல வருவது சிறப்பே தவிர மனம் குழந்தை போல் அடம்பிடிக்கிறது நான் அதட்டினால் அழுகிறது என்று விளக்குவதில் கவிதை காணாமல் போய்விடுகிறது என்று அவர் பாணியில் விளக்கினார்.

கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டம் இடலாக்குடி அரசு உயர்நிலைப்பள்ளி (சதாவதானி ஷெய்குத்தம்பிப் பாவலர் மேனிலைப்பள்ளி)யில் படித்து உலகின் பல பாகங்களிலும் வாழும் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் இணைந்து APSA ( Association of Pavalar School Alumni) எனும் பெயரில் பள்ளியின் வளர்ச்சிக்காக ஓர் அமைப்பை நிறுவியுள்ளனர்.
ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகத்தின் APSA உறுப்பினர்களின் கூட்டம் கடந்த 21/11/2008 ஆம் நாள் துபை தெய்ராப் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள ASCON D BLOCK இல் நடைபெற்றது.
பள்ளியின் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் திரளாகக் கலந்துகொண்டு பள்ளியின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு அரிய ஆலோசனைகளை வழங்கினர்.தேவைப்படும்
நிதியினை வழங்குவதாகவும் உறுதியளித்தனர்.

சிறந்த போலீஸ் force யார்?
சிறந்த போலீஸ் force யார் என்று கண்டறிய நடந்த போட்டியில்,இங்கிலாந்து போலீஸ்,ஸ்காட்லாந்து போலீஸ் மற்றும் நம் தமிழ்நாடு போலீஸ் கலந்து கொள்கிறார்கள்...
விதிமுறை இதுதான்,அனைவரையும் கிர் காட்டில்(சிங்கங்கள் நிறைந்த காடு)கொண்டு போய் விட்டு விடுவார்கள்...யார் யார் எவ்வளவு நேரத்தில் சிங்கத்தை கொண்டு வருகிறார்களோ அதை பொருத்து வெற்றி...
முதலில் ஸ்காட்லாந்து யார்ட் போலீஸ் அரை மணி நேரத்தில் ஒரு சிங்கத்தை குண்டு கட்டாக கட்டி தூக்கி வந்தனர்...அடுத்து இங்கிலாந்து போலீசார் முக்கால் மணி நேரத்தில் ஒரு சிங்கத்தை இழுத்து கொண்டு வந்தனர்...
ஒரு மணி நேரம் ஆகியும் நம்மவர்கள் வராததினால் சந்தேக பட்ட குழுவினர் காட்டுக்குள் நம் போலீசை தேடி போயினர்...அங்கே,
மரத்தில் ஒரு கரடியை கட்டி வைத்து விட்டு நம் போலீசார் அடி பின்னி சொல்லி கொண்டு இருந்தனர்,
"ஹே ஒழுங்கா ஒத்துக்கோ நீ தானே சிங்கம்"
"அடி வாங்கியே சாகாத,ஒழுங்கா நீ தான் சிங்கம்னு ஒத்துக்கோ"
