career academy

career academy

Assalamu allaikum brother, Kadherusien of Toronto

I am grateful for giving impetus to my thoughts about the lack of interest from our Rich Islamic community brethren about the backing of our poor and intelligent Muslim students in getting the adequate support either for their higher studies in foreign countries or pursuing higher studies in India or getting into Governmental prime posts both at Central and State. But Non-Muslims are giving adequate support to the aspirants of their communities even at the school level, for an

Example; recently the Hindu organization had conducted the aptitude test scholarship for the students from 8th std to 12th std to get admission for IIT and IIM at Triplicane.

This is clear from my particulars shown below for the representation in IAS/IPS in Tamilnadu:

There are 325 posts of IAS in Tamilnadu.

But to my knowledge only 8 of the following officers are in the list;

K. Alauddin from Tamilnadu
Aslam A. MD ------–do---
Ferozkhan Malick ---do---
Basheer Ahamed ---do---
Siddique--------------do---
M.F. Farooki—Utter Pradesh
Munir Hoda------Bihar
MD. Nasimuddin—Bihar

There are 236 posts of IPS in Tamilnadu.

But there are 6 officers from Muslim community:

Anisa Hussain –Uthar Pradesh
Mahaboob Alam—do—
Najmal Hoda-----Bihar—
Md. Shakeel Akthar-Bihar—
Jaffar Sait---Tamilnadu
Mohamed Hanifa-Tamilnadu

You will be surprised to see the poor representation of Tamil Muslims in IAS/IPS. You may not be surprised to see that the representation in other Governmental offices in Tamilnadu may be less than 2 percent. The Muslim Political parties which support either DMK or AIADK at the State or Congress at Centre had got no guts to ask to release the white paper about the representation of the Muslim community in the Governmental Jobs. When Mr. S.I. Jaffar Ali IPS from Tamilnadu was suspended by AIADMK regime in 1991 after coming to power telling the false reason that he was the DIG Intelligence during DMK regime which supported LTTE. Similarly I was arrested in 2004 while I was DIG CBCID by UPA Govt. supported by DMK with the help of CBI in a fix up case since I arrested Mr. M. Karunanidhi in the scam involving the construction of nine fly overs in Chennai City. None of the Muslim political came forward to speak neither on my behalf or the behalf of Mr. Jaffar Ali. Neither the Rich Muslims are bothered to find out the remedy of the plights. Where as when one North Indian Muslim IAS Officer was suspended by AIADMK Rule in 2004 and recommended for the compulsory retirement to Central Govt. the Political Bigwigs of his concerned Northern State along with some Chennai Rich persons of Tamilnadu helped him to get out of it by moving at Centre. I am bringing it to your notice since I am not blaming any body for the help of that Officer because he is also a Muslim brother. The Rich Muslims have shown the lukewarm attitude to help the job and higher education seekers to guide properly. That was why I had given in my write up about it recently the necessity of starting an Academy of Career Guidance.

The following are required to start the Academy:

Infrastructure: Building-furniture-communication and transport facilities.
Establishing libraries with books, periodicals, printed materials, computer and CDs, availability of leading national dailies and magazines for references.
Able professionals who can handle the optional subjects, psychology,
General mannerism, physical education teachers, etc.

If there is an established educational institution like New college(MEASI) at Royapettah, Sadaq College at Sholinganallur, Cresent college at Vandalure and SA College at Avadi we may make use of the facilities, faculties and professional available there. Otherwise we have to make arrangements for the above facilities. The building should be hired.

We have to think of giving proper training to train our Muslim brothers and sisters in GRE, TOFEL and IELTS required for the students to get admission in foreign universities, like US, Canada, U.K, Australia, Singapore, so on. I have sounded some educated persons in Chennai and we will meet shortly to discuss to make a beginning. Please pray Allah to enlighten our thoughts and give proper guidance to help the poor and intelligent lot who are running from pillar to post for help.
